GOOD MORNING STAFF AND STUDENTS,
Due to an increase in Covid cases throughout Washoe
County, it is imperative that we all adhere to health and safety protocol in
order to suppress the spread of the virus. Please be sure to always wear your
mask covering both your mouth and nose. Also, please maintain six feet of
social distancing especially while eating or drinking. Thank you all for your
efforts to this point.

We will be celebrating with dress up days. Monday-Oct 26-
Is candy corn day- wear orange, yellow, white Tuesday- Oct 27- Is black out
day- wear all black Wednesday- Oct 28- Is Scarecrow day- wear your overalls,
flannels, jeans Thursday- Oct 29- Is Halloween costume day- they must be school
dress code appropriate, and no weapons, and no full masks Send us your pictures
daily to our Instagram page for your chance to be in the yearbook- That
Instagram page is @_damonteranchhs There will be a costume contest on Thursday,
October 29th. The winner(s) will be chosen from our Instagram submissions and
will receive a gift card to their choice of Dutch Bros or Starbucks!!
MAKE-UP PICTURE DAYS ARE THIS WEEK,
Thursday & Friday, October 22 & 23, from 8 am- 12
pm, in the Gym Foyer. You can get your make-up picture taken before school,
during 1st or 2nd period, or during lunch.
IF YOU WERE A PREVIOUS CERAMICS
STUDENT and had art pieces on display in the display case down the PAC
Hall, please stop by the Ceramics Room, Room 146, sometime before October 29th
to pick up your art piece. Unclaimed pieces will be donated.
PLEASE DROP OFF YOUR CLASS JEWELRY
AND GRADUATION ORDERS with Jostens, Thursday and Friday, November 5th and &
6th. Jostens will be set up by the main entrance during lunch. You will receive
a packet in your Government class. If you have a TMCC Government Class, please
stop by Mr. Polson’s room, 210, to pick up a packet. And if you do not have a
Government class, you can pick up a packet in the office.
HEY THERE MUSTANGS, Don’t forget to
buy your yearbook at Jostens.com or with the bookkeeper. The cost is only $80
right now, but will go up on Friday, October 23rd. Jostens.com also offers a
payment plan, for those who would prefer smaller payments. You can still lock
in this low price if you act now. $80 and a 2021 yearbook could be yours.
Senior Ads and personalizations are also available at Jostens.com. (Run until
10/23/20)
DO YOU DRIVE TO SCHOOL AND PARK YOUR
CAR ON CAMPUS? All student drivers are required to have a parking permit to
park at school. Parking permit applications can be picked up in the Corral.
They are $5 which can be paid at the Bookkeeper’s office. Permits must be
displayed on the vehicle in the front windshield and old permits must be
removed. Students can park in the north and south parking lots as well as the
east athletic parking lot. The deadline for purchasing your student parking
permit is October 30th of this year.
ALL BREAKFAST AND LUNCH MEALS, now through the
end of the school year, are completely free to all students! It’s quick and
easy to pick up your meals, and you don’t have to take any additional steps in
order to receive them. Show up in the cafeteria, pick up your meals, and enjoy
them for no charge!

a closed campus. Students are to remain
on campus throughout the entirety of the school day unless permission has been
granted otherwise. At lunch, we ask that
all students remain within the sidewalk that encircles the school building and
stay out of the parking lots and vehicles.
