Have you ever been to Food Truck Friday at Idlewild park in Reno? Did you know that they have 35 local trucks during this big event that starts on Friday, May 18^th?  Let’s get this kicked off with a Food Truck Friday Celebration Damonte Ranch Style.  Friday, May 11^th during lunch, the Foods 3 class will be in the back of the school with their 7 mock food trucks to serve you.  From street tacos to chicken tenders, smoothies to ice cream sandwiches… come enjoy the kick off to our nice weather.  Again that is Friday, May 11^th at lunch.

 

 

Calling all seniors!  Do you want to show off your talent at the senior assembly?  Now’s your chance to try out!  Auditions will be held on Wednesday, May 9^th, and Friday, May 11^th, at lunch in the Main Gym.  A sign-up sheet will be posted outside of Room 101 as well as in the office with Mrs. Kenyon.  Performances can be a maximum of 2 minutes.  Show off your singing, dancing or other special talent to your fellow Mustangs before the end of the year!  (Run Dates: 5/3 - 5/4)

 

Damonte Mountain Bike Club is having their annual "Informational Night" on May 15th at 6:30 at Damonte H.S.  Our season runs from July - October.  We practice 3 days a week.  We ride the local trails, including the Tahoe Rim Trail near Mt. Rose and participate in 4 Mountain Bike races throughout our season, starting in August. 

HOLA AMIGOS!  In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, Hispanic Club will be selling pupusas and chicken tostadas in a combo for $4.00 and horchata on the side for $1.00.  Don’t miss out!  We will be selling in the Main Hall, at lunch on Friday, May 4^th.  Hope to see you there!
