Come
support us Thursday at Texas Road house for a media and news fundraiser from
4-10pm. Bring your ID and a friend and you’ll receive a free appetizer of
fried pickles or a cactus onion!
Car
wash, car wash, car wash the news production team is having a car wash
this Saturday from 9-2:30 at 7-11 on South Virginia by Walmart. Cars $5,
Trucks $7. See you there!!
Congratulations PAC Drama students for their achievement over the weekend at the Northern
Nevada Technical Olympics! Jenelle Morter won 2nd place in Lighting, and
Brianna Hughes also took 2nd place in Construction! Overall, PAC Drama
took first place in accuracy, with perfect scores in 5 out of 7 events!
Congratulations also go to team members Ilana Barry, Riley Berriesford,
Charlie Rieckers, and Maggie Regier for helping our team earn that award!

It
was so exciting to see the number of people who showed up for the first meeting
this year for the Hoof Notes literary magazine. On Friday, we want
to see you again along with a friend. Please bring the copy of Hoof
Notes you were loaned and meet in Ms. Servilican’s room 214 on Friday,
September 19 at lunch! Again the date is Friday, September 19 at lunch in
Ms. Servilican’s room, #214! (Please announce for 3 consecutive days beginning on
Monday, 9/15
PRE-SEASON WRESTLING
PRACTICE
on Mondays, from 3:30-5:30 pm, for those athletics who are not already
participating in another sport. It is
not mandatory.

If
you are planning on bringing a guest from another school to the Homecoming
Dance on Saturday, September 27th, you must fill out a guest pass
application. The applications
are available in the Corral and are due by the end of the day on Wednesday,
September 24th.

powers for good and join Future Business Leaders of America. Become a state or even national champion in
tech, presentation, business, or test based categories. To learn more
attend the first meeting Wednesday, September 17th, at lunch in room
130, or see Ms. Chachas in room 130. (Run September 11th-16th)

all Sophomores and Juniors! There
will be a class meeting Friday, 9/19, in the Theater, during lunch.

If
you are a part of any club or organization within this school, we invite you to
participate in our float parade at this year’s Homecoming Halftime Show, where
our Damonte Ranch Varsity Football Team will take on the North Valley’s
Panthers. All clubs are invited, and
encouraged to participate, and it is a great opportunity for bonding and
getting your club out there to the entire crowd! If interested, please contact Ms. Nichols or
Miles Anderson for information and float requirements, we all look forward to
seeing your creations!
Attention any boys interested in playing basketball: Player Development has started for any boy
interested and not participating in a fall sport. Workouts will be every
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday right after school in the main gym. See Coach
Sheets with any questions.
Girls
Basketball Player Development Open Gym will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
starting September 1st in the small gym, immediately after school.
