There will be no school Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, November 26, 27 & 28, 2014 for Thanksgiving Break.  Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!

Attention Mustangs- Save the Date:

DRHS Speech and Debate Team is hosting a Barnes & Noble Bookfair Saturday December 6^th. This is a wonderful fundraiser for the team and just in time for everyone’s holiday shopping. We will be out at the Barnes and Noble on South Virginia St. all day performing and offering free gift wrapping. If you would rather shop online and still support the team. You can do so by entering our bookfair ID number #114 at the checkout.

Literary Club – There will NOT be a meeting on Friday, no meeting on Friday.  Thank you!

Hey senior boys!  Have you ever wanted to be in a male beauty pageant?  Well now’s your chance!  Try out for Mr. Mustang!  Signups will be by the bookkeeper November 17^th through the 25^th.   Please run November 17^th- 25^th 

Hey senior girls!  Are you interested in being an MC for the hottest beauty pageant ever?  We are holding tryouts for MCs for Mr. Mustang soon.  If you’re interested, please sign up outside of rm 101.  The last day to sign up is November 21^st.   Please run November 17^th- 21^th

Hey Damonte Staff and Students—

During the next few weeks, Key Club is sponsoring both a canned food/non-perishable items drive and a “stuff the bus” warm clothing drive.  Please bring in anything you can give in for local families in need.  The IC that collects in the most food and clothing will enjoy a cookie party on the day before Thanksgiving break.  Let’s try to really make a difference in our community by feeding hungry families and stuffing a bus full of warm, cozy, clothes. (Please run announcement until Thanksgiving)

A Driver Education class will be offered at Damonte during winter break, January 5-8.  This 30-hour class fulfills the classroom requirement for a driver's license in Nevada if you are under 18.  The cost is $94.  Please call 829-9010 for more information and to register.
