PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE

TODAY IS AN “A” DAY

SPRING BREAKMarch 21 – April 1, 2016

Keep Calm and Ping Pong!

It’s time for DR’s Ping Pong Tournament brought to you by the National Honors Society.

Sign-ups are this week in the counselor’s hallway at lunch.

The cost is $7 for singles and $10 dollars for doubles.

The tournament will be held in the small gym at lunch April 11th – April 15th.

Prizes will be given to a singles winner as well as the doubles winners.

Bring your friends for support!

Do you have the makings of a Ping-Pong champion?

Attention all students and staff, time is running out!  Stop by the corral today, before noon, to claim lost and found items before they are donated!  Don’t wait, act now!

The State Thespian Conference was a huge success for PAC Drama, with 100% of our student performers earning Superior or Excellent ratings—a terrific feat considering it was also our largest group in attendance ever!

Qualifying for the International Thespian Festival in June are the following 14 students:

Anna Engel, Short Film

Katie Hughes, Solo Musical Theatre

Heather Renner, Solo Musical Theatre

Lauren Pretlove, Monologues

Luke Allen, Monologues

Maggie Regier, Monologues

Gianna DeTomaso, Hannah Eckert, Summer Mather, Carolena McGrapth, Addi Osentoski, Sarah Strang, Ilyana Hobson, Tessa Parker, Group Scene

Congrats to actors in our Group Scene, who were selected to showcase their performance of “The Serpent” in front of the entire delegation!  Also, give a pat on the back to Ilyana Hobson for being elected to next year’s Student Thespian Officer Board!

Finally, we’re proud to share that Mr. Hearn was named Nevada’s Theatre Educator of the Year for 2015-2016!

ATTENTION SENIORS:  Wednesday, March 16th at 1 pm.  You must have applied and been accepted to TMCC in order to take the test.  Stop by the Career Center to sign up and save your seat.

BSU will be taking orders for t-shirts that say “I proudly support BSU” March 14-18 in front of the counseling office.  If you’d like one of these, please come by and check them out!”  (3/9 through 3/17)

Over spring break, TMCC is offering classes in Driver’s Ed, archery, improv acting, fencing, creative writing, rock climbing, volleyball, and more.  Visit camps.tmcc.edu or pick up a flyer in the office for more info.
