TODAY IS AN “A” DAY
The weather is getting cold and it’s starting to snow.
So get your ski’s out and come join the Damonte Ski team! There is a
meeting today in room 120. Come find out what ski team is all about.
Attention
Damonte Ranch High School! The
Student Body Officers heavily influence all assemblies, dances, and spirit
weeks that occur in our school. Positions
of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer are all open for the
2017-2018 school year. Election Packets
can be picked up in room 101 starting Monday, December 5th. Please also go to room 101 with any additional
questions, thank you! Run December 2nd-6th
FCA
is meeting this Tuesday, December 6th, during lunch in room 111.
Melissa Tuttle, former DRHS volleyball player, will be our guest speaker.

various events as well as in the Student Store. These are not stickers--they

Nevada law states that students, ages 15
through 18, must complete 30 hours in a driver’s education class, plus 50 hours
behind the wheel.
TMCC Community Education Driver’s Education class, which costs
$99, fulfills the 30-hour classroom requirement. Parents are responsible for
the 50 hours behind-the-wheel component. These classes fill quickly. If the
class you want is full, look for another that has space available. Register

Scholarship Program is accepting
applications and is comprised of four individual scholarships including:
1. RMHC/ASIA – Asian students increasing achievement
2. RMHC/African American Future Achievers
3. RMHC/HACER –Hispanic American Commitment to Educational Resources
4. RMHC – Scholars

Jiffy Lube Teen Driver Scholarship
Program- Congratulations to last year’s seniors 2015-16 as they submitted the
most essays and we were awarded $500.00 to be placed in our scholarship
account.
