TODAY IS A “B” DAY

#Prom 2018!

Clue: Damonte Edition... at Whitney Peak Hotel on Saturday, April 21st from 7:00pm-10:00pm. Tickets are $50. Tickets will be sold April 9th-20th. Guest passes are due Wednesday, April 18th. Guest passes are also required for underclassmen. Stylish, formal attire.

 

Have you already purchased your bowling tickets?  If so, good for you.  If not, you still have time.  The Booster Bowling Fundraiser is this Saturday, April 14th at the Grand Sierra Bowling Center from 1pm – 5pm; the cost is $12 for 2 games and that includes shoe rental. Tickets can be purchased on-line by going to the school website, choosing "pay on-line" and choosing the "Bowling Fundraiser" from the featured products or from the bookkeeper until noon on Friday.  Tickets will also be available at the door on Saturday.  We hope to see you there as we have a great time while supporting DRHS and finding out who the best DRHS bowlers are!  (Thursday, April 12th and Friday, April 13th)

SENIORS-If you would like to purchase a senior panoramic picture, there are still copies available for $20.00.  Please see Mrs. Kenyon in the office to buy your copy.

Attention Juniors- KIDS University at UNR is seeking high school volunteers for summer camp.  Camp dates will be June 11-July 27, 2018.  Camp hours are 7:30am-5:30pm.  Volunteers commit to at least 3 weeks during the summer.  The deadline applications is Monday April 23rd.  What more information?   Visit:   http://www.kidsuniversity.unr.edu/ or stop by the Career Center.

 

Attention Sophomores- Looking for a fun camp to attend this summer? HOBY of Nevada is looking for outstanding leaders to attend their Leadership Camp. HOBY’s State Leadership Seminars, empower high school sophomores to develop their leadership talents to become the leaders of their community. The seminar curriculum is based on the Social Change Model of Leadership and develops leadership from three perspectives: Personal Leadership, Group Leadership, and Leadership for Society. If this is something you are interested in please stop by the Career Center.

 

Grandma Thiede’s mac and cheese with a green side salad is back.  Foods 2 class will be making it fresh and serving it for you on Friday, April 20th.  This dish goes fast so prepay ($3 donation) with Mrs. Thiede to reserve your dish or pay at the door.  Once again, Grandma Thiede’s Mac and Cheese served next Friday April 20th during lunch in the foods room.

 

Students, beginning April 16 through May 25th DRHS is having a No Dress Code Violations Contest.  Follow the dress code and earn an Otter Pop Party with the Principal in the courtyard.  Please see posted fliers for more details.  (Daily announcements for the week of April 9-13, 2018)
