Attention
all Girls interested in playing golf next season - There’s a meeting
scheduled for Thursday at Lunch in Mr. Fournier’s room W251. We’ll
discuss the upcoming season and ways to get prepared when the golf season
begins in August. Again, there’s a girls golf meeting Thursday at lunch
in Mr. Fournier’s room W251.
Students, please tell your parents that the next Booster meeting is 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16 in the DRHS library. Officer nominations will be held and goals will be discussed. We hope your parents can attend.
Thank you to all the
audience members who attended our musical, Sister Act, over the last couple
of weekends! We have more drama for you this Friday, May 18, at
2:45. Come by the theatre after school to see a seated reading an
original play, a verbatim theatre piece called “This Isn’t a Drill.” Written by
Intermediate and Advanced students with a guest playwright, we’re excited to
bring to our stage this unique style of theatre based entirely on interviews
and primary sources, all word-for-word accounts of, and reactions to,
protests. The performance will last about one hour. See you
there—it’s FREE!
If
you still have library fines, take care of those while you still only have to
pay half! Hurry, hurry! Also, all LIBRARY books are due May 25th! Thanks for being on the case.
Damonte Mountain Bike Club is having their annual "Informational Night" on May 15th at 6:30 at Damonte H.S. Our season runs from July - October. We practice 3 days a week. We ride the local trails, including the Tahoe Rim Trail near Mt. Rose and participate in 4 Mountain Bike races throughout our season, starting in August.
