Attention all Sophomores! On Thursday February 7th you
will be taking part in the Vision and Hearing Screening in the Library.
If you wear glasses or contacts, please remember to bring them and wear them
for the screening. We will be calling you down alphabetically by last
name, so please pay attention and report promptly when your letter is
called. See you then! (Run February 4-7 for me)
Hey Girls -- If you are new
to softball and interested in trying out, stop by Mrs. Odette Daniels desk and
provide your information, so that you can receive updates on workouts and
tryouts. (Run through Friday, 2/8)

23rd at 11am. All are
welcome... no experience required. That's Saturday, Feb 23rd at 11am
for softball tryouts! (Run Announcement to start 2/4 through 2/14)
Attention Students:
Valentine’s Day is coming up and Hispanic Club will be selling Valentine Grams
at lunch these two weeks. You can reach us in front of the Career Center to buy
one, and give someone a greeting for this day with a nice Valentine gram.
Please provide the second period room number for delivery. Deliveries will be
made on Thursday, the 14th at 2*.
The Speech & Debate team competed at Carson High School this past weekend. David Barrientos
took 2nd in Extemporaneous Speaking and Jenni Whitbeck took 5th. Jenni
Whitbeck also was the 3rd top senior Lincoln Douglas Debate speaker, with
Conner Estes breaking into the top 10 at 9th place in Novice LD. Maranda
Templeton took 3rd in Novice Informational Speaking, and also 4th in Congress
with Dalin Moore placing 5th in Congress.

what you do: visit the library, check out a book from the Blind Date with a
Book display, read, return, enter the raffle. Repeat, repeat, repeat.
The raffle drawing will be right before Spring Break, so you have lots to time
to read and read and read some more! See you at the library!
SPRING SPORTS BEGIN FEB. 23, 2019-BASEBALL, SOFTBALL, BOYS GOLF, TRACK & FIELD & SWIM All Athletes (even if cleared for a fall or winter sport) must Register Online at www.registermyathlete.com for the spring season.
