GIRLS GOLF CONCLUDED THEIR SEASON TUESDAY. Senior Ava Bonk posted a personal best score of 89 to finish in 14th place overall. Junior Elle Simonds posted a personal best score of 77 to finish in 7th place overall. Congratulations girls on a great season and congratulations to our other members of the girls golf team: Chloe Young Delaney Bohach Lillian Robertson Hailey Wackowski Any girls interested in joining the Golf Team, please check in with Mr. Fournier in room W251. The girls golf season will begin in August, so don’t delay and start getting ready to play golf. FOR THE SIXTH YEAR IN A ROW, DAMONTE RANCH has qualified a student to the National Speech and Debate Tournament! Owen Sellers took second place in Congressional Debate and will be participating in online Nationals in June. Dalin Moore took third, making him an alternate to Nationals and qualified to present a supplemental event at Nationals. Maranda Templeton took 5th in US Extemp and 6th in Senate and qualified to present a supplemental event at Nationals. Looking forward to being able to recruit incoming Freshman in any manner possible (blast email, mailer, in-person event??) as well as all other Damonte students who may be interested. Would you like to learn? Craft club (TYE) is starting up again on Mondays and Fridays at lunch. Come join us and see what we can teach you. We can make knitted on hats on looms to donate or even just learn to hem your pants or stitch on a patch. Don’t have supplies? Come join us and we will give you the yarn you need get you started.
