The student store will be selling Hot Cheetos with Nacho Cheese sauce AND donuts this Friday at lunch!

$2.00 for the Cheetos dish and $1.00 per donut.

I know you all remember the Miracle Minute, and your generosity helped greatly.  Now we have another chance to help the less fortunate.  You might have noticed the green barrels around campus.  Those are for non-perishables and toys.  If you could gather your non-perishables and more to donate, the Salvation Army will make sure that it goes to those who don't have as easy access to it.  Thank you for the kindness in your hearts, Damonte.

Are you planning on going to the Damonte/Carson Football game this week? Did you know that Friday is supposed to be really cold?  Swing by the Student store today and pick up your very own DRHS Mustangs sweatshirt for only $20.00!  You'll stay toasty warm while repping your awesome school!

Congratulations to the Damonte Varsity football team.  Last Friday night the varsity football team won their 7th consecutive game of the season. Way to go mustangs!  Thank you to all the fans who showed up to show their support - it is a huge help and greatly appreciated.

Nachos with the Principal will take place on Thursday, October 19^th at 1:45PM in the DRHS cafeteria.

A list of students who qualified for the Nachos with the Principal Perfect Attendance Competition are posted on the bulletin board outside the counseling office.

Join us for prizes, music and fun.  Principal Bell is looking forward to celebrating with you! 

 

Come support our band at the 9th annual Damonte Marching Invitational this Saturday, October 21st from 2:00-5:30.

Any students interested in playing a WINTER sport, Boys & Girls Basketball, Wrestling & Ski please go to the main office and see Mrs. Daniels for online instructions.  The registration deadline for Winter sports is October 26, 2017.

This year’s Homecoming Dance is Saturday, October 14th from 7:00PM-10:00PM.

• Please enter through the DRHS back doors.

• Make arrangements for your ride to pick you up promptly at 10:00PM.
• Although dance dress code rules allow for spaghetti straps or strapless dresses, please ensure your stylish clothing is appropriate for the occasion.
• If you choose to wear spike high heels, you will be asked to remove them (and check them with your coat) before stepping on the gym floor.  Flat surface pumps or wide chunky heels are generally allowed on the gym floor.

You may buy your pre-sold tickets October 9th - October 13th for $12.00 at lunch in the Counselor’s Hallway.  At the door, tickets will be $15.00.  Don't forget:  See you Saturday​, ​October 14th from 7am-10pm for our first dance of the school year​!​   (Air October 9th- 13^th)

THE Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, or ASVAB test, is an opportunity to find out in what areas your strengths and weaknesses lie.  It is a free test and not just for those that are interested in military service!  Damonte is hosting an ASVAB testing on Thursday, October 12^th, at 8 am in the Rifle Range.  Please sign up in the Career Center to reserve your seat.

 

Spare – Strike – 300!  This can ALL happen to you!  Come check out the Bowling team with Mrs. Louton & Mr. Fournier at lunch in Room 128!  The first Bowling meeting to sign up is on October 12^th.  See you there!
