PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE
TODAY IS AN “A” DAY
The Damonte Ranch Air Rifle marksmanship team
is holding open tryouts on Monday 16 Oct at 3:00pm. Contact Commander Van
Buren in room 131 to sign up. If you enjoy shooting and marksmanship then
come out and try out for the team. Varsity and Junior Varsity openings
are available. All students welcome to try out and make the team.

Come to Friday’s Homecoming
football game and support your school!
Remember
- Sit on the Damonte side. Students are not allowed to go to the visitor side.
- Once you enter the football stadium, no reentry is allowed.
- Entry is free with an activity sticker or students pay $4.
- Leave your backpacks at home.
- You may not bring beverages inside the gate.
Wear your school colors. We hope to see you there!
Homecoming Dance
This year’s Homecoming Dance
is Saturday, October 14th from 7:00PM-10:00PM.
- Please enter through the DRHS back doors.
- Make arrangements for your ride to pick you up promptly at 10:00PM.
- Although dance dress code rules allow for spaghetti straps or strapless dresses, please ensure your stylish clothing is appropriate for the occasion.
- If you choose to wear spike high heels, you will be asked to remove them (and check them with your coat) before stepping on the gym floor. Flat surface pumps or wide chunky heels are generally allowed on the gym floor.
You may buy your pre-sold tickets October 9th - October 13th for
$12.00 at lunch in the Counselor’s Hallway.
At the door, tickets will be $15.00.
Don't forget: To pick up a guest
pass to bring a peer from another school, you must get it to the Corral and
turned in by Wednesday, October 11th, 2017.
See you Saturday, October 14th from 7am-10pm for our first dance of
the school year! (Air October 9th- 13th)
Want to show your Mustang Spirit? Swing by the Student Store and pick up your very own DRHS MUSTANGS lanyard! They come in green or blue and cost only $3.00 and are seriously cool! Also at the Student Store - Try to Guess how many pieces of Halloween candy are in the Skull pitcher and win the whole thing! You get one guess every day that you purchase something through the end of October!
THE Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery,
or ASVAB test, is an opportunity to find out in what areas your strengths and
weaknesses lie. It is a free test and not just for those that are interested
in military service! Damonte is
hosting an ASVAB testing on Thursday, October 12th, at 8 am in the
Rifle Range. Please sign up in the
Career Center to reserve your seat.
