Our final performances of “Julia Caesar” run today at 3:00 and 7:00—all seats only $5—come check it out!  (Run Friday)

Jostens will be here Wednesday, March 11th, during lunch, by the office, delivering graduation announcement boxes.  Jostens will also accept class ring and graduation orders at this time.

Attention Volleyball players:  open gyms will start next week in the big gym!  They will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm – 5pm beginning March 10 thru the end of the school year.  For more info check the volleyball website or see Coach Wallace in the bookkeeper’s office.

Seniors if you are planning on attending TMCC, the Career Center is hosting the second TMCC Accuplacer testing on Wednesday, March 11th at 1:15 pm. Please stop by the Career Center and sign up to reserve your seat. Plan on testing for two hours.

Hoof Notes is seeking writers to submit to the literary magazine.  If you have a piece and it fits into the category of poetry, prose or short story, dramatic literature, nonfiction or like to draw or design things, submit your work.  Pick up a submission form from Ms. Servilican in room 214 or from your English classroom.  As it said in Lemony Snicket, “If we wait until we’re ready, we’ll be waiting the rest of our lives.”  Submit your work now!

PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE

Today is a “B” DaY

HSPE
High School Proficiency Exams (HSPE) are scheduled for March 2nd  -5th, and will begin at 8:00 a.m. on each day. The HSPE will be offered in Math, Reading, Writing & Science to any 11th & 12th grade students who have not already passed. Rosters and testing rooms will be posted Wednesday outside the counseling office.

·       Wednesday, March 4th -- Writing

·       Thursday, March 5th  – SCIENCE  (3hr Delayed Start/Classes begin at 11:15)
All 10th graders will be taking the End of Course Exam in Science on Thursday, March 5th from 8-11:15. Room assignments will be posted outside the counseling office on Friday.

3hr delay is only for 9th graders and any 11th and 12th graders that have passed the science proficiency exam. All 10th graders are required to be here to test.

Do you want some yummy pancakes? Do you want to support the freshman class? Every Monday before school the Freshman Class will be selling pancakes for $2 a plate! Come and enjoy!

Damonte students, as we roll into spring I’d like to give you the latest testing update:
