TODAY IS A “B” DAY

 

Track and Field season is here!!  If you are interested in track and field, it's not too late to join the team!  Practices are Monday-Friday from 3:15-5:30.  Please see Mrs. Daniels in the office for the athletic clearance process.  All athletes welcome!

Female DRHS students:  Are you interested in building your conference and empowerment as a young woman?  A group from UNR called ABLE Women is sponsoring the event Queen in You on April 7^th.  A representative from this group will be at DRHS on Friday, March 9^th during lunch.  If you are interested in being involved in this event or just in getting more information, please visit their table during lunch on Friday, March 9^th in Hausauer Hall.   (Friday (3/2) and also next Mon – Thurs (3/5 – 3/8)

 

Our “Read and Grow Rich” gig is going strong!  There is still time to get in some amazing reading and be entered in the $50 Amazon gift card drawing.  Keep on keeping on!  Visit the library to find out more.

 

Damonte's Got Talent, Friday, March 2nd, at 7:00 PM.  Tickets will be sold at the door.  It will be a great show!  See you there!

Please wear your senior shirts and come ready for the photo.  We will meet on the field at 11:05.

Attention students:  Have you heard something at school you think should be reported?  Or within your Family?  Damonte now has an app for that.  Safe Voice is an anonymous app where students can reports their concerns with issues such as violence, depression, drugs/alcohol, family problems, etc.  You can download Safe Voice on apple and android devices for free today.  If you have any questions about it, come see the counseling center.  (Run through 2/23/18)

 

Dodge, Dip, Duck, Dive, and Dodge!  It’s that time of year again… the 2018 Dodgeball Tournament is returning during the week of March 5^th.  The cost is $5 per person, and teams can sign up starting the week of February 26^th during lunch.  (Please run 2/19 – 2/23)

 

 

Want to learn more about Speech & Debate?  Good timing!  Damonte is hosting a tournament this weekend. 

Speech events will take place Friday, February 23^rd, beginning at 3:30 p.m. 

Debate events will take place on Saturday, February 24^th, beginning at 8:30 a.m. 

You are welcome to come observe events.

Judges are also needed.
