PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE

TODAY IS AN “A” DAY

 

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27-ACT TESTING for all juniors and some seniors.  There will be no school for non-testing students.

 

Would you like to win up to $100 in cash? Do you have a special talent you would like to share?  Come audition for Damonte's Got Talent, this Monday, February 26th at 4:30-6:30 in the theater.  Audition forms are available in the fine arts hallway right outside the theatre door.

Don't have a talent you would like to share?  Come support the performers on Friday, March 2nd, at 7:00 PM.  Tickets will be sold at the door.  It will be a great show!  See you there! 

 

Attention students:  Have you heard something at school you think should be reported?  Or within your Family?  Damonte now has an app for that.  Safe Voice is an anonymous app where students can reports their concerns with issues such as violence, depression, drugs/alcohol, family problems, etc.  You can download Safe Voice on apple and android devices for free today.  If you have any questions about it, come see the counseling center.  (Run through 2/23/18)

 

Want to learn more about Speech & Debate?  Good timing!  Damonte is hosting a tournament this weekend. 

Speech events will take place Friday, February 23^rd, beginning at 3:30 p.m. 

Debate events will take place on Saturday, February 24^th, beginning at 8:30 a.m. 

You are welcome to come observe events.

Judges are also needed.

Dodge, Dip, Duck, Dive, and Dodge!  It’s that time of year again… the 2018 Dodgeball Tournament is returning during the week of March 5^th.  The cost is $5 per person, and teams can sign up starting the week of February 26^th during lunch.  (Please run 2/19 – 2/23)

 

Attention Seniors!

The Senior Panoramic Photo will be taken on Wednesday, February 28^th during lunch on the football bleachers.

Please wear your senior shirts and come ready for the photo.  We will meet on the field at 11:05.

There will be open field practices for softball Tuesday and Thursday, February 20 & 22, at 3:30 pm.  Bring tennis shoes and cleats.  Attendance is optional.  See you there!  (Run until 2/24)

ATTENTION CLASS OF 2018:  Seniors at graduation we play a video with your senior picture and your baby picture for your friends and family to enjoy.  Submit your baby picture to drhsbabypic@damonteranchhs.com   Deadline for pictures to be received in March 17^th.

Read on everyone!  Our Read and Grow Rich event in the Library is going strong!  More books are added every day, so keep on keeping on.  You can read and review as many as you want up until March 14^th to be entered into the Amazon $50 gift card drawing!  We may even add an additional $50 gift card, so get going to the library!  See you soon!
