Literary
Club is seeking artists and graphic designers to design our 2nd
annual Hoof Notes cover. The winner will receive a $100.00 gift card and
have their cover printed on this year’s literary magazine. Please make
sure you have the words Hoof Notes on the cover and it must represent Damonte
Ranch in some way. See Ms. Servilican in room 214 for more details or
pick up a submission sheet in your English classroom and submit your design
today! Monday

THE GAMES HAVE BEGUN. Today is President
Snow Monday. Dress up as Panem’s leader or in all white we begin the annual
battle of the sexes week.
Tomorrow
is Team Peeta Tuesday. Steal an apron from your mom to be a baker like Peeta
Melark. Or, wear a hat for a $1wristband from the corral
Next
we enter the Capitol, now we are the royalty, so dress the part and reign The
Capitol with dresses and high class jewelry. If you’re not feeling so sophisticated
just wear black.
Friday
is the assembly, remember to wear your pink and blue head to toe and bring your
game face to the competition of the year. And may the odds be ever in
your favor Damonte. (Feb. 2)

Yearbook even if you aren't on DRHS sports team? Yearbook is looking
for students who have hobbies outside of school. If you participate in
lacrosse, rodeo, archery, shooting, wakeboarding, photography, musicians or

DRHS Seniors! Yearbook has extended the deadline for
buying senior ads to Monday February 2nd. If you have not bought your senior ad
you need to NOW. Please visit yearbookforever.com to submit an ad online OR
bring your Seniors ad's text, pictures, and payment to room 208 during 3rd

What’s your favorite subject? Come to AP night and
find out how you can sign up to take the AP class in your favorite
subject! Bring your parents on Thursday February 5th at
6pm. You and your parents will meet with the AP teachers, learn more
about the AP program and discover how your participation in an AP class will
benefit you! Join me! Thursday, Feb 5th from 6-7:30pm in
the theater and on Main Street. Don’t forget to bring your parents.
