to all students THIS WEDNESDAY 4-5:30 on the softball field. Bring those beautiful
faces and let's get dirty!
Hey Mustangs! There will be
a ski team meeting on Thursday, October 15th, during lunch in room 133. Come get information on what it takes to be a
part of the ski team.
Seniors! Haven't bought your senior shirt yet? Your last chance to buy one is Monday and
Tuesday, October 12th and 13th at lunch. They are $10 and will be sold in the counselor’s
hallway.

Ranch, Happy Birthday to the United States Navy. Today is the
Navy’s 240th Birthday.
All
Damonte Ranch NJROTC cadets there will be a mass formation this Friday 10/16
in the stadium during I.C. Please be there.
How
would you like to see your choice of teacher duct taped to a wall? For just a dollar you
can vote from a list of teachers to be taped. The two teachers with the most
votes will be our lucky winners. We have teachers such as Ms. Jackson, Mr.
Johnston, Mr. Capelin, vice principle Bell, and dean Finnigan as well as
others. So come to the main hall at lunch to cast your vote.
SENIORS INTERESTED IN
TMCC:
This Wednesday night is Senior night at TMCC. It will be held from 6:30 to 8:30
up at the main Dandini Campus in the Sierra Bldg. Rm. 108. Bring your parent or
bring a friend… but get up to TMCC Wednesday night and see the campus and
investigate the exciting things they have to offer and how you can be a part of
it!

Ranch is offering free ASVAB assessment testing on November 4th.
The ASVAB is a free test offered to help you know where your strengths lie in
specific career fields. The ASVAB is also used by the government and
military for career field placement. The test will be given at 12:00 on
November 4th. Students that are interested in taking the test
can sign up in the Career Center to reserve a spot. Spots are limited so
sign up today!
LOOKING
FOR A FUN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY? HELP IS NEEDED FOR A “THOMAS THE TRAIN EVENT”
OVER FALL BREAK IN VIRGINIA CITY. The V & T Railroad is in need of
volunteers the weekend of Oct 30, Oct 31 and Nov 1.

Volunteers will help with children and their families as they take a 25 minute train ride with Thomas the Tank Engine. Volunteers will help in the Imagination Station Caboose, the Coloring Caboose, and help serve lunch in the P.B. & J Pullman car. Or they will help with other Thomas-themed activities including motor car rides, and golf at Sudor Village. Also, there will be a goat petting zoo, bean bag throw, i pad station, and assisting a photographer. Volunteers will receive a free shirt and lunch will be provided. MUST ENJOY CHILDREN. Recently
numerous bikes have been stolen from the school bike racks, each bike was locked
up with a cable style bike lock which was cut. Anyone with information
may contact Secret Witness at 329.6666 or School Police. If you are
currently riding your bike to school, you may want to consider investing in a
U-shape bike lock.

Seniors,
you have one month left to make your appointment with Lifetouch and take your
Senior Portraits! Remember, if you don’t make an appointment with Lifetouch
before November 19th then your memorable Senior Portrait will NOT be
in the Yearbook! Lifetouch has extended hours for Fall Break, Monday through

students: You are wanted!! For what, you
ask? DANCING WITH THE STAFF!!! That’s right, Dancing With the Staff! This event is a big fundraiser for your dance
team and we need you to participate. We
are looking for students to partner up with a teacher or staff member to become
this year’s dance champion. If you are interested in signing up, please
tell any dance team member or Coach Roybal, or sign up with Mrs. Kenyon in the
front office. We are looking for boys and girls to participate and the
show is scheduled for January, 28. You
won’t want to miss out on this super fun event!!! Thank You and see you on the dance floor. (Run until 10/16)
TMCC’s Community Education Drivers’
Education class, which costs $99, fulfills the
30 hour classroom requirement, will be held at DRHS October 26-29. Parents are responsible for the 50 hours
behind-the-wheel requirement. These classes fill quickly. If the class you
want is full, look for another that has space available.
Seniors I now have the hard copy
application for the 2016 U.S. Senate Youth Scholarship.
There are two $5,000.00 scholarships
available along with an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. If you are
interested stop by the Career Center or checkout the website www.ussenateyouth.org.
