Student Union will be meeting today, Thursday, at lunch in room 211. Bring
your lunch and find out what BSU is all about. See you today in room 211
at lunch.
There
will be a brief wrestling meeting for all returning and new wrestlers this Friday,
November 6, at 11:30 in the wrestling room.
There
will be a Literary Club meeting on Friday in Ms. Servilican’s room 214 during
lunch. Please come and help us prepare for this year’s magazine. If
you are interested in joining, drop by, we would like you to be a part of our
gathering. Also, last year’s literary magazine, Hoof Notes, are on sale
in Ms. Servilican’s room. They are $5.00. If you want one, please
stop by and Ms. Servilican will be happy to accommodate your purchase.
The International Club will be meeting on Monday the 9th
during lunch time in room 234. New
members are always welcome. Come travel
with us & explore the wonders of the world!

in by Nov 13th win TREATS! Any questions please ask your IC
and Freshman Seminar teacher for more information.
SENIORS:
You must sign up for an ACT or an SAT this week if you want to take one in
December. This is important! UNR and other colleges want a score from a
test this year. Please see your
counselor or check your senior folder for dates and web sites and get signed up
for an ACT or SAT this week! Fee waivers
are available. If you qualify, see your

Hey
Damonte! Are you interested in joining our bowling team??? We compete
against the other high schools in Reno and Carson. The season starts in
November 18 and runs through mid-March. All levels of expertise are
encouraged as we have great coaches that will help you (even if you’ve only
ever bowled with bumpers!!) If you would like more information, please
put your name and info down on the bookkeepers door (Ms. Wallace) so we can
contact you and stay tuned for meeting announcements. (Run through 11/10)
Winter Sports are coming!!!
Any students interested in playing a WINTER sport, Boys &
Girls Basketball, Wrestling & Ski, pick up an athletic packet in the main
office. Clearance dates will be November 2 - November 10, 2015. Students
who have played a fall sport, and are interested in signing up for a winter
sport, may go to the Main Office and sign the clipboard at the Athletic
Counter.
Damonte Ranch Lacrosse Club will be having an informational meeting on
Monday, November 16th from 6-8pm in the DRHS library. Everyone is
welcome, as it is a great chance to come learn about Damonte Ranch Lacrosse,
meet the coaches, board members, parents, and returning players. We hope to see
everyone there! Go Mustangs!

Senior Portraits! Remember, if you don’t make an appointment with Lifetouch
before November 19th then your memorable Senior Portrait will NOT be
in the Yearbook! Lifetouch has extended hours for Fall Break, Monday through
