Today is An “a” DAY
Damonte
Students and Staff – Star Wars and Hour of Code are happening next Wednesday
during lunch and IC. Come to one of the computer labs to get a raffle
ticket and prizes for participation and for dressing up as your favorite Star
Wars Character. Join us for lots of fun next Wednesday!
Jostens
will be here Friday, December 11th, during lunch, by the
office, delivering class jewelry. Jostens will also accept class jewelry
and graduation orders at this time.
BSU
will be in the main hall during lunch selling Christmas grams through Friday,
12/11. Come on by and send a message to your friends and spread the
cheer of the holiday season.

December 4th! Buy a wristband in the
corral for only one dollar. (Wednesday-

Want
to do something special for Christmas that will be fun, won’t take very long
and is right here at Damonte?
Jobs
for Americas Graduates students have purchased supplies, glitter, glue and
markers for DRHS students to make Christmas Cards for Veterans. ANY student can come to JAG and make a card
using the supplies every day this week during lunch. JAG is room 147, the old photo lab
across from ceramics. See you there! (Until 12/4)
Attention
volleyball players. There will be a meeting on Wednesday 12/9 at lunch to
meet your new head coach, Nate Hallett. Please meet at 11:05 am in room
117 (foods room).

December 4th. Pick up a flyer in the

Please
mark your calendars for this Wednesday and Thursday, December 2 & 3 for the
PAC Dance fall showcase. We have some
wonderful student choreography being presented as part of the performance. Showtime is 7 pm and admission is $5. Please come out and support your dancers!!
Auditions
for our spring musical, Oklahoma, are in January and are open to every
student in the school! Ever wanted to audition for a play but are
feeling nervous and unsure? Then come to our Audition Workshops
and you’ll feel a lot more confident and competent! Our first one
is this Thursday, Dec. 3, from 2:40-4:10 in the theatre! Oklahoma is a classic of American
Musical Theatre and has potential for a very large cast—whether it’s your first
time on stage or your fourteenth, it’s the perfect show for YOU! Bring a
friend and check it out! (Run Dec. 1-3)
Want
to wear your hat during Spirit week? For just $1 you can purchase a wristband to wear
your hat for the entire school day during spirit week only. All you have to do
is come to the Corral the day that you wish to wear your hat, before school and
purchase your wristband. See the Corral with any questions, have a great day

The
Boys and Girls Track and Field Team will be holding a mandatory meeting on Thursday,
December 10th and Friday, December 11th. The Boys meeting will take place on Thursday
in Coach Woo’s room, 111. The Girls
meeting will take place on Friday in Coach Woo’s room, 111. If you have any questions, please see Coach

GLO, GLO, GLO!
GLO is Friday, December eleventh from
eight to eleven. Tickets will be sold at
lunch December seventh through the eleventh for $12 in the counselor's hallway.
At the door they will be $15. The dance is blacklight so make sure to wear
neon and white clothing so you can GLOW at GLO!
The
Black Student Union will begin collecting clothes for Big Brothers, Big Sisters
for our holiday clothing drive. Bring
your good condition clean clothes starting Monday, November 23.
The clothing drive will go through December 7th so make sure you
clean out that closet!
