Hey Damonte!  'Tis the season to decorate sugar cookies!

Come to the Counselor's Hallway during lunch Thursday and Friday to decorate a sugar cookie for yourself or a friend. The cost is $2, and Key Club will be donating all the proceeds to help needy families for the Holidays. Don't be a Scrooge- have fun and give back to our community!

 

Juniors, sophomores, and freshman! Have you ever dreamed of serving your school, putting on awesome events, and creating amazing memories for staff and students? Now it's your chance! Student Body Officer packets for the 2016-2017 school year are out! Stop by the office or room 101 for more information. Packets are due Thursday January 14th at 3 pm. See Student Body President Alex Pollock in room 101 if you have further questions.

Attention Freshmen, on December 10th, at lunch in the theater, there will be a class meeting. This meeting will cover some important announcements and at the end, you'll have the opportunity to win a delicious holiday treat! 

 

GLO, GLO, GLO!

GLO is Friday, December eleventh from eight to eleven.  Tickets will be sold at lunch December seventh through the eleventh for $12 in the counselor's hallway.  At the door they will be $15.  The dance is blacklight so make sure to wear neon and white clothing so you can GLOW at GLO!  Are you bringing a guest from another school?  Make sure to turn your guest pass forms in to the corral by Wednesday, December 9th.  Guest pass forms will be available in the corral and at the Glo ticket sales table.  Can't wait to see you there!

 

Damonte Students and Staff – Star Wars and Hour of Code are happening Wednesday during lunch and IC.  Come to one of the computer labs to get a raffle ticket and prizes for participation and for dressing up as your favorite Star Wars Character.  Join us for lots of fun on Wednesday!

 

Attention volleyball players.  There will be a meeting on Wednesday 12/9 at lunch to meet your new head coach, Nate Hallett.  Please meet at 11:05 am in room 117 (foods room).

 

Jostens will be here Friday, December 11^th, during lunch, by the office, delivering class jewelry.  Jostens will also accept class jewelry and graduation orders at this time.

 

BSU will be in the main hall during lunch selling Christmas grams through Friday, 12/11.   Come on by and send a message to your friends and spread the cheer of the holiday season.

 

Want to wear your hat during Spirit week? For just $1 you can purchase a wristband to wear your hat for the entire school day during spirit week only. All you have to do is come to the Corral the day that you wish to wear your hat, before school and purchase your wristband. See the Corral with any questions, have a great day Mustangs!!  (Run through Friday, Dec 11^th)

 

The Boys and Girls Track and Field Team will be holding a mandatory meeting on Thursday, December 10^th and Friday, December 11^th.  The Boys meeting will take place on Thursday in Coach Woo’s room, 111.  The Girls meeting will take place on Friday in Coach Woo’s room, 111.  If you have any questions, please see Coach Alian (rm 204) or Coach Woo (rm 111).  Hope to see you there, Damonte Ranch Track & Field Staff  

 

Girls Lacrosse meeting is on December 14 at 6 pm in Damonte Ranch cafeteria. If you have never played before, now is the time to start!!! Remember - Girls Lacrosse meeting is on December 14 at 6 pm in Damonte Ranch cafeteria! Lacrosse – the FASTEST Game on Two Feet!!

Attention Seniors:

Baby photos are due by DECEMBER 17th.  Photos will not be accepted past December 17th.  Please email them to drhsbabypic@damonteranchhs.com.  If you have any questions, please come see Mrs. Kazarian in room 145.

 

ATTENTION SENIORS:  It’s not too late to buy a Senior Panoramic Picture!  They are available in the office and the cost is $20.00.

 

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Essay Contest – “Pursuing the Dream in 2016”.  High School scholarship award is $400 Deadline is January 4, 2016.  Stop by Career Center for further details.
