PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE

TODAY IS A “B” DAY

Attention Students!  The Hoof Notes Literary Magazine is seeking interested people to, once again, have a literary magazine for this school year.  If you’re interested, please come to our first meeting on January 17 in Ms. Servilican’s room 214 at lunch.  We want to see if any of you are interested and also to come up with a new magazine for this school year.  If you don’t know about the literary magazine, come to the meeting and find out what it’s all about!  Hope to see you there!  (Run through 1/17/17)

Do you like to hike, ski, bike, kayak, and more?  Well, the Adventure Club is having their next meeting this Thursday January 12th in room M4 at lunch.  Stop by to hear about what the Adventure Club has planned for the year and how to get involved. Everyone is welcome.

Do you love the music from shows like Chicago and Cabaret?!  Then our spring musical this year is for YOU!  Auditions for The World Goes ‘Round are January 19th, and this large and flexible cast might just have a place for you!

Nervous about auditioning?  Not sure what a musical review is about?  Then come check out our Audition Workshops after school on January 12th and 17th.  More information is on the bulletin board outside the theatre, or swing by the theatre and see Mr. Hearn and he’ll answer your questions!  See you there!  Run Thursday, 11/12

Jostens will be delivering class jewelry Wednesday, January 18th, during lunch, located by the office. Jostens will also accept jewelry orders at this time.

Did you know that there are students who only graduate high school because of the positive impact of a Math Peer Tutor?  Do you like to help other people and make a difference in someone’s future?  Are you strong in math?  If so, the Math Department is looking for peer tutors for Algebra 1 and also for Alt Ed math classes, especially during period 5.   Please see Mrs. Ault in room 122 in order to sign up.

Attention Seniors!  The time is finally here!  Time to write your senior quotes.  You English teachers will be passing out the forms. If you do not get one, please come by room 130 to get a form. You have until January 13th 2017 to turn in your form. If you have any questions, Ms. Meyer in room 130. Or you can email us Haley.Meyer@washoeschools.net.
