testing Thursday, March 2nd starting at 2 pm. Please make sure to stop by the Career Center

first testing.

This spectacular event will take place on Friday, February 24th, 2017 in the theater, beginning at 7 pm till 9 pm. The presold tickets are $7.00, and at the door sales will be $9.00. Have
you been dreaming about prom since you were a freshman? Well it’s time to Discover what prom is all
about! Tickets will be sold at lunch February 21st-March 3rd for $50 in the
counselor’s hallway. See you on March
4th, from 8 to 11pm to uncover the magic of prom at the Discovery Museum. There
is a limited amount of tickets so be sure to get yours fast! If you would like to bring a guest from
another school or an underclassmen, you can find a guest pass in the corral,
your passes will be due by February 26th. The universe awaits to be Discovered at Prom! Air February 21 –
February 23:
Are
you attending the Prom? Ally’s Prom Closet is opening soon. This is an
organization that helps students with dresses, shoes, jewelry, and accessories.
If you need help with prom, see your counselor for more details.
This Friday, show off your guitar hero skills right outside the
student store for just one dollar. You
can play or just watch your friends.
Also if you buy a Damonte Ranch High School Hat, hoodie, or backpack at
the student store you will get one free game.
Remember, all student store proceeds benefit scholarships. Remember this Friday in front of the student
store, See you at the student store! (Run 2/21-2/24)
ATTENTION
SENIORS who have been accepted to UNR…Please bring your acceptance letter to the Career
Center on Wednesday March 1st during lunch. Justin Bouldt, our UNR
rep., will be providing Port of Subs sandwiches and tee shirts to those
incoming UNR Freshmen. Also, there will be a representative from NevadaTeach to
answers question about the STEM teaching program at UNR.
KIDS
University at UNR is looking for high school volunteers to help us with camp
this summer! KIDS University is a 7-week summer camp for kids in 2nd-8th
grade that is held on the UNR campus each summer. We offer a variety of
educational classes in the mornings followed by recreational activities in the
afternoons. Camp dates will be June 12-July 28, 2017. Camp hours
are 7:30am-5:30pm. We ask that volunteers commit to at least 3 weeks
during the summer. Hours can be flexible.

Mustangs, softball tryouts are
right around the corner. Tryouts will
begin Monday, February 27th at 3:30 pm. Start conditioning and getting ready for the
new season today. Be sure to register online for a
spring sport and have your updated physicals/health forms. Come out and have fun
playing softball and make memories that will last a lifetime! (Run until
Monday, February 27th.)

The
following is information on how to submit your baby picture for the senior
video… The baby pictures is placed next to the student’s graduation picture in
the video. All pictures are due electronically only by March 17th.
TMCC Community Education Driver’s Education class, which
costs $99, fulfills the 30-hour classroom requirement. Parents are responsible
for the 50 hours behind-the-wheel component. These classes fill quickly. If
the class you want is full, look for another that has space available. Register
