Congratulations
to all the IC classes that participated in the pumpkin decorating contest put on
by the National Honor Society. The pumpkins looked amazing and after a
very competitive judging by the students at Damonte Ranch High School we are
proud to announce that winning pumpkin came from Mrs. Chavez’s Sophomore
Seminar class for their amazing Day of the Dead themed pumpkin. The
National Honor Society would like to thank all classes for participating and we
proudly share that all money generated from the competition will be donated to
help the victims of the Northern California Wildfires, the charity chosen by
the winning class.
Don't miss the fall play, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow! Performances run this week only, at 7:00 pm Wednesday through Saturday. We also have a performance right after school on Friday at 3:00. Tickets are $8 for Students and Staff, $10 for Adults. See you there!
Damonte Ranch Cross
Country made some history
this past weekend as Aric Turner turned in his best performance of the season
as he became the 4A Regional Champion and helped the Damonte Ranch boys squad
secure its first-ever berth in the state cross country meet. On the Ladies side and just as impressive, the
girls squad produced its first Regional Championship in school history! The State Championships will be held Saturday
morning at Shadow Mt. Park at Reed HS, come out and support both teams as this
is history in the making!

Hispanic Club will be selling desserts such as Abuelita’s Hot Chocolate and sweet bread for $3.00 dollars, Tapioca or “Arroz con Leche” for $2.00 and Strawberries and Cream, “Fresas con Crema,” for $4.00 served in the main hallway!
