TODAY IS AN “A” DAY
 
THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2017, in observance of Nevada Day.
 
The debate team travelled to Earl Wooster High School for a tournament this last weekend.  Congratulations to the following students:
Kobe Kitson: 1st place debate, 1st place speaker points, 3rd place speech 
David Barrientos: 1st place speech, 2nd place speaker points 
Jade Whitbeck: 1st place debate, 2nd place speech 
Jennifer Whitbeck: 2nd place debate, 2nd place speaker points, 4th place speech

If you haven’t signed up for Bowling yet there is still time!  First Practice is Monday, October 30 at 3:30 pm at High Sierra Lanes.  The final sign-up day is November 1, 2017 at 3:30 pm at the National Bowling Stadium.  The cost is $69.  Want more information go to room 128 to see Mrs. Louton.  Hope to see you there!
 
ATTENTION STUDENTS:  Winter Sports are coming!!!
Any students interested in playing a WINTER sport, Boys & Girls Basketball, Wrestling & Ski please go to the main office and see Mrs. Daniels for online instructions.  The registration deadline for Winter sports is October 26, 2017. 
Want to show your Mustang Spirit?  Swing by the Student Store and pick up your very own DRHS MUSTANGS lanyard!  They come in green or blue and cost only $3.00 and are seriously cool!  Also at the Student Store - Try to Guess how many pieces of Halloween candy are in the Skull pitcher and win the whole thing! You get one guess every day that you purchase something through the end of October!

The foods class will once Again be selling grandma Thiede's Mac & Cheese with a green side salad on Friday, November 17th. $3 donation.  Come early so you don't miss out on this popular dish.
