The TMCC Career and Technical Education (CTE) Open House will have live demonstrations of various programs such as automotive, diesel, welding, machining, robotics, unmanned aerial systems and many more.  If this interests you the open house is Wednesday February 21 @ 6:30 – 8:30 PM. Located at 475 Edison Way Reno, Nevada. RSVP to 775-673-8236.

 

FCA is selling blue long-sleeved t-shirts for $20 during lunch this week.  Each shirt can be customized with a name and number.  Look for the FCA table during lunch to buy your t-shirt.  (Thursday & Friday)

 

Attention Students: Valentine’s Day is coming up and Hispanic Club will be selling Valentine Grams at lunch these two weeks. You can reach us in front of the Career Center to buy one, and give someone a greeting for this day with a nice Valentine gram. Please provide the fifth period room number for delivery. Deliveries will be made on Wednesday, the 14th at 5*. (Run from Friday, February 2 thru Tuesday February 13)

 

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)

This quarter’s PBIS focus is a No Tardies Challenge.  Students with No Tardies between January 22nd and March 9th will be rewarded with a Popcorn Party with the Principal.  Please see the fliers in the hallway for more details.  (run through Feb 9)

 

Hey, have you written something? Are you an artist? Photographer? Song writer? Play write? The Literary Magazine needs your submissions! There is prize money of $75, $50, and $25 for winners in each category! Submit to any English teacher or Ms. Hellen in Room 116!

When:  Tuesday, February 27 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Cost:  $20.00 (to the bookkeeper. Please, tell her that this payment is for the AAPPL World Language Exam)

Attention Mustangs,

If you ride a bicycle to school, PLEASE remember to lock it upKeep a record at home of the make.  Model and serial number in case your bike goes missing.  REPORT your missing/ stolen bike to the Corral as soon as possible!  Cable and chain style bike locks can be quickly cut so consider investing in a U-locks or “U” bolt locks along with a chain or cable lock which are harder for thefts to defeat.  Thank you!
