Please be sure to check the No Tardy list of eligible students posted in front of
the Counseling Office to see if you qualified to attend the Popcorn with the
Principal party today (Thursday) March
22, 2018 during IC. Amazingly, 678 Mustangs
qualified.

Bell is looking forwarding to celebrating your Third Quarter-No Tardy-success
with you!
-Be
sure to report to your IC class first so your teacher can take attendance, then
come to the cafeteria to celebrate.
-Bring
all your belongings with you to the cafeteria,
so you can leave from the cafeteria to go home when the 2:30pm bell rings.
-If
for some reason you are not on the list and you believe you had No Tardies for
third quarter, please let Ms. Matos know.
Today
(Thursday) March 22, 2018 DRHS will host the Alumni Panel for Freshmen
during IC in the theatre. Be sure to report to your IC class for
attendance first and walk to the theatre with your class.
Over this past weekend, the Damonte
Speech & Debate Team traveled
to Las Vegas for the State Tournament. Kobe Kitson is the State Champion
in Original Oratory and took 4th in Lincoln Douglas Debate. Jade Whitbeck
was the only student from Northern Nevada to go into Semis and then Finals of
Congress and took 7th. Those two students, combined with the efforts of
Jenni Whitbeck, David Barrientos, and Ronald Du, WON the STATE SWEEPSTAKES
CHAMPIONSHIP for the FIRST TIME EVER for DAMONTE. In the 20+ years this
award has been given out, Northern Schools have only won a handful of
times, and now it is ours! The Team will
be competing at Districts this week to determine who goes to Nationals.
