Picture day Make ups are right around the
corner on September 20th. Bell Photographers will be in the Gym
Foyer to take your Student ID and yearbook photo!
Please remember if you do not have your photo
taken you will not be in the 2018-2019 yearbook.

Have
you heard? The Washoe Noshery Food truck will be at Damonte Ranch
High School on Wednesday, September 19 for breakfast and lunch. Special menus
have been prepared that include items such as a Hawaiian Breakfast Sandwich and
a Mocha Smoothie for breakfast;
and Pulled Pork Sliders, Pulled Pork Nachos, and a Vegetarian Baja Salad
for lunch. Breakfast is
$1.75, Lunch is $3.05 and a single entrée is $2.50. Cash, MySchoolBucks, or
free/reduced accounts will be accepted.

Candy? Want to help teenagers in need? Come on down to Hausauer Hall at lunch
THIS week for a chance to win either a jar of skittles or a jar of lollipops.
All you have to do is guess how many you think are in each jar! Each guess is a
dollar, and all donations will be going to the local teen shelter, The Eddy
House. The National Honor Society hopes to see your donations! (For 9/17-9/21)
HEY JUNIORS, HABLAS ESPAÑOL? The
University of Nevada, Reno is looking for bilingual students to be part of the
CBESS Program. You will explore careers in healthcare, spend 3 weeks
living on the UNR campus during the summer, visit hospitals and clinics, have a
mentor, and experience an internship all for free! If you missed picking up an
application last Thursday please stop by the Career Center. Deadline is
November 16th.

Juniors.
Any student wishing to take the PSAT and National Merit Scholar Qualifying Test
will need to register with the book keeper no later Friday September 28th. The PSAT/NMSQT will be
administered on October 10th at
8am. The fee to take the exam for juniors is $16.
There are only 150 slots available. (Please keep

Perry Outreach Program
is on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine in Reno, NV for those
female students who interested in pursuing careers in medicine and engineering.
