DAMONTE RANCH HIGH SCHOOL FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2021 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE & MOMENT OF SILENCE TODAY IS GROUP B 123 THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15, IN OBSERVANCE OF PRESIDENTS’ DAY. FALL SPORTS ARE HAPPENING!!!! Football, Volleyball, Girls Golf, Girls/Boys Cross Country, Soccer, Tennis, and Cheer. Student Athletes who want to participate in Fall Sports must Register Online at www.registermyathlete.com. This program only works with Firefox or Google Chrome. To play sports you need to have a physical and have completed your online registration. Volleyball try-outs are February 20th, in the Main Gym from 8 to 10 am. Girls Soccer try-outs are February 23rd, in the Stadium from 5-7:30 pm. Boys Soccer try-outs are February 20th, in the Stadium from9-11am. For Football: contact Coach Dupris for more details or go to website drfpmustangs.com. If you are interested in Girls Golf, contact Coach Fournier in Room W251. For ALL sports-look for practice dates and times on the DRHS activities calendar, NND1.org. See Mrs. Daniels in the Main Office if you need more information… CROSS COUNTRY HAS STARTED FOR THE 2021 SEASON, If you are interested come see Coach Cabada in the Counseling department or Find the “Damonte Ranch Cross Country 2021” Microsoft Teams page for more information. ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! This is a reminder that Damonte Ranch is a closed campus. During lunch, you are to remain within the sidewalk surrounding the building. If you have off-campus privileges, you must present your ID, signed by Mrs. Aikin, as proof to Dr. Taylor at the Southwest exit near the practice field to leave campus. ATTENTION ALL FRESHMAN, SOPHOMORES, AND JUNIORS- Voting for Student Body Officer for 2021-2022 closes today at 2:30. Your History or Freshman Seminar teacher sent you the ballot link. Be sure to cast your vote! Winners will be announced next week. ATTENTION WINNERS OF SENIOR SUPERLATIVES, please make sure you stop by room 208, during 2nd period or IC, to have your picture taken this week. If we are not there come to room 104. Don’t forget to remind your parents that Senior Ads are due by Valentine’s Day—that is this weekend. Buy your yearbook or ad at Jostens.com. ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BEING A PART OF OUR STUDENT LEADERSHIP TEAM here at Damonte? Do you want to help plan Homecoming and dances like Prom, run assemblies, and be a part of a great family? Then run for a Student Council position. Class Officer Candidate Packets for the 2021-2022 School Year will be available for pickup starting Friday, February 12th.
