DAMONTE RANCH HIGH SCHOOL FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2021 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE & MOMENT OF SILENCE TODAY IS GROUP B 123 ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! This is a reminder that Damonte Ranch is a closed campus. During lunch, you are to remain within the sidewalk surrounding the building. If you have off-campus privileges, you must present your ID, signed by Mrs. Aikin, as proof to Dr. Taylor at the Southwest exit near the practice field to leave campus. GIRLS TENNIS SEASON HAS BEGUN! Practice will begin Saturday February 20th. Please see Mrs. Daniels in the office or Mrs. Rutherford in Room 114 for more information. CROSS COUNTRY HAS STARTED FOR THE 2021 SEASON, If you are interested come see Coach Cabada in the Counseling department or Find the “Damonte Ranch Cross Country 2021” Microsoft Teams page for more information. FALL SPORTS ARE HAPPENING!!!! Football,Volleyball, Girls Golf, Girls/Boys Cross Country, Soccer and Tennis. Student Athletes who want to participate in Fall Sports must Register Online at www.registermyathlete.com. This program only works with Firefox or Google Chrome. To play sports you need to have a physical and have completed your online registration. Volleyball try-outs are February 20th, in the Main Gym from 8 to 10 am. Boys Soccer try-outs are February 20th, in the Stadium from 9-11 am. Girls Soccer try-outs are February 23rd, in the Stadium from 5-7:30 pm. If you are interested in Girls Golf, contact Coach Fournier in Room W251. For ALL sports-look for practice dates and times on the DRHS activities calendar, NND1.org. See Mrs. Daniels in the Main Office if you need more information… ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 23RD ALL JUNIORS WILL BE TAKING THE ACT. Additionally, any senior who has not taken the ACT with Writing, is required to attend. There will be NO SCHOOL for other students that day. The ACT w/Writing is a graduation requirement. Students need to be at school and checked into their testing rooms by 8:00 AM. Students must bring a photo ID. Room assignments will be posted outside of the Counseling Office by Friday, February 19. Please do not bring electronic devices to testing rooms, except for an ACT approved calculator. The test will end around 12:45 pm, at which time students will be dismissed from school. Busses will run a regular schedule that day. ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BEING A PART OF OUR STUDENT LEADERSHIP TEAM here at Damonte? Do you want to help plan homecoming and dances like prom, run assemblies, and be a part of a great family- then run for a Student Council position.
