DAMONTE RANCH HIGH SCHOOL FRIDAY, AUGUST 13, 2021 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE & MOMENT OF SILENCE TODAY IS A “B” DAY ATTENTION CLASS OF 2022- IF you bought a senior shirt at the end of last semester, they have arrived and they will be available for pickup on Monday and Tuesday in the counselor hallway during lunch OR in room 226 AFTER Tuesdays lunch. IF you would like to still order a class of 2022 shirt, order forms will be available starting Monday in the main office and in room 226. The order forms and money are due to the bookkeeper by Friday, August 27th. SENIORS- get ready for Senior Sunrise on Friday, August 27th on the football field. It begins at 6am with a few activities and food. The group picture will be at 6:45am. Let's start the year off right! We can't wait to see you there. ATTENTION ALL FRESHMEN, we are opening up class elections for the positions of freshman class president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. If you are interested in being that spirited representative for your class, election packets will be available in room 226 and in the main office on Wednesday, August 18th and are due Thursday, August 26th.  You can find more information in the packets or contact Student Body President , Alysse Norton if you have questions. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN CREATING ART AND HELPING THE COMMUNITY… The National Art Honor Society is welcoming new members! To be able to join, students must have had at least one year of high school art and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, August 26th at lunch in Mrs. Biller’s room 144. THERE WILL BE A MEET AND GREET FOR SPEECH & DEBATE TODAY, Friday, August 13, at lunch in the Career Center. STUDENTS-Please continue to check your schedules for IC and Freshman Seminar changes. GOOD MORNING MUSTANGS! A few reminders regarding the School District’s Dress Code Policy. No head coverings, hats, or hoods may be worn inside the building unless they are for medical or religious purposes. Students must be covered from above the chest to below the buttocks; no exposed midriffs are allowed. Students’ clothing cannot advertise drugs, alcohol, or violence. And lastly, masks must be worn at all times while inside the building unless actively eating or drinking. PICTURE DAY FOR ALL FRESHMAN, SOPHOMORE, AND JUNIOR STUDENTS is continuing today, Friday, 8?13, in your ENGLISH classes in the Small Gym. Seniors – your make-up picture day will be held on August 20. IF YOU DID NOT GET A CHANCE TO BUY LAST YEAR’S YEARBOOK, they are still on sale with the bookkeeper for $95. You can also pre-order your 2022 Yearbook now for only $80. The price will go up, so buy yours today! ATTENTION ALL DUAL CREDIT TMCC STUDENTS: • Classes will begin on August 23rd. • Being enrolled in Infinite Campus does not mean you are automatically enrolled in class.
