DAMONTE RANCH HIGH SCHOOL THURSDAY, AUGUST 19, 2021 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE & MOMENT OF SILENCE TODAY IS A “B” DAY STUDENTS: COME AUDITION FOR A PLAY! The PAC Drama program is holding auditions this afternoon in the theatre from 2:30-4:10 for Charlotte's Web! More information is on the bulletin board outside the theatre door in the fine arts hall--come give it a shot! THIS FRIDAY WE HAVE OUR CLUB FAIR DURING LUNCH. Look for the tables that will be set up down the hall from the counselor hallway to see what GREAT clubs we have to offer here at Damonte. It's another great way to get involved and participation looks great on your resumes for scholarships, jobs, and college applications. See you then!! ATTENTION ALL DUAL CREDIT TMCC STUDENTS: • Classes will begin on August 23rd. • Being enrolled in Infinite Campus does not mean you are automatically enrolled in class. You must apply to TMCC and complete permission to enroll forms. • Be sure to get access to Canvas prior to Monday the 23rd. • Need financial assistance for tuition? Grants are available. • Please see Mr. Polson in Room 210 if you have any questions or would like to request a tuition grant. ATTENTION CLASS OF 2022- IF you bought a senior shirt at the end of last semester, they have arrived and are available room 226, at lunch. IF you would like to still order a class of 2022 shirt, order forms will be available in the Main Office and in room 226. The order forms and money are due to the bookkeeper by Friday, August 27th. SENIORS- get ready for Senior Sunrise on Friday, August 27th on the football field. It begins at 6 am with a few activities and food. The group picture will be at 6:45 am. Let's start the year off right! We can't wait to see you there. ATTENTION ALL FRESHMEN, we are opening up class elections for the positions of freshman class president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. If you are interested in being that spirited representative for your class, election packets will be available in room 226 and in the Main Office and are due Thursday, August 26th.  You can find more information in the packets or contact Student Body President , Alysse Norton if you have questions. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN CREATING ART AND HELPING THE COMMUNITY… The National Art Honor Society is welcoming new members! To be able to join, students must have had at least one year of high school art and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, August 26th at lunch in Mrs. Biller’s room 144. SENIORS – YOUR MAKE-UP PICTURE DAY WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 20, in the Faculty Lounge.
