FALL SPORTS ARE HAPPENING!!!! Football,Volleyball, Girls Golf, Girls/Boys Cross Country, Soccer and Tennis. Student Athletes who want to participate in Fall Sports must Register Online at www.registermyathlete.com. This program only works with Firefox or Google Chrome. To play sports you need to have a physical and have completed your online registration. Boys Soccer try-outs are today, Monday, February 22, in the Stadium from 5-6:30 pm. Girls Soccer try-outs are Tuesday, February 23rd, in the Stadium from 5-7:30 pm. Boys Tennis Practice is every day this week, from 3-5 pm, at the Tennis Courts. For ALL sports-look for practice dates and times on the DRHS activities calendar, NND1.org. Additionally, any senior who has not taken the ACT with Writing, is required to attend. There will be NO SCHOOL for other students that day. The ACT w/Writing is a graduation requirement. Students need to be at school and checked into their testing rooms by 8:00 AM. Students must bring a photo ID. Room assignments will be posted outside of the Counseling Office by Friday, February 19. Please do not bring electronic devices to testing rooms, except for an ACT approved calculator. The test will end around 12:45 pm, at which time students will be dismissed from school. During lunch, you are to remain within the sidewalk surrounding the building. If you have off-campus privileges, you must present your ID, signed by Mrs. Aikin, as proof to Dr. Taylor at the Southwest exit near the practice field to leave campus. GIRLS TENNIS SEASON HAS BEGUN! Practice will begin Saturday February 20th. Please see Mrs. Daniels in the office or Mrs. Rutherford in Room 114 for more information.
