Have you heard? The Washoe Noshery Food truck will be at Damonte Ranch High School on Wednesday, September 19 for breakfast and lunch. Special menus have been prepared that include items such as a Hawaiian Breakfast Sandwich and a Mocha Smoothie for breakfast; and Pulled Pork Sliders, Pulled Pork Nachos, and a Vegetarian Baja Salad for lunch. Breakfast is $1.75, Lunch is $3.05 and a single entrée is $2.50. Cash, MySchoolBucks, or free/reduced accounts will be accepted.

 

Like Candy? Want to help teenagers in need? Come on down to Hausauer Hall at lunch THIS week for a chance to win either a jar of skittles or a jar of lollipops. All you have to do is guess how many you think are in each jar! Each guess is a dollar, and all donations will be going to the local teen shelter, The Eddy House. The National Honor Society hopes to see your donations!  (For 9/17-9/21)

 

HEY JUNIORS, HABLAS ESPAÑOL?  The University of Nevada, Reno is looking for bilingual students to be part of the CBESS Program.  You will explore careers in healthcare, spend 3 weeks living on the UNR campus during the summer, visit hospitals and clinics, have a mentor, and experience an internship all for free! If you missed picking up an application last Thursday please stop by the Career Center. Deadline is November 16th.

Respond to ten rounds of ten trivia questions plus a “final Jeopardy” style finale to determine the winning team.

One automatic raffle ticket will be given to each person.  Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase for some GREAT Prizes!

The score for girls soccer game on Sept 11th was 4-0 against Reno High School.  The girls who scored were Hannah Prins, Shannon Murray, and Jazmine Alvarez who had two goals.  Great job girls soccer team, keep up the hard work.

Ski season is just around the corner.  Anyone interested in joining the Damonte Ranch Ski Team, please come to the meeting Wednesday, Sept. 12^th at lunch in Room 211.  You do not need to have experience in ski racing but must be an advanced skier.
