parents with a copy of your schedule, so that they will be able to find your

Thank you to all who attended the Audition Seminars over the last two weeks, preparing for the Dark of the Moon
auditions today after school! Didn't attend--no problem! Just show
up! Information is on the bulletin board outside the theatre door.
This has potentially a very large cast, so come one, come all! Please
make sure you've picked up an Audition Form from the bulletin board and arrive
with it completed!
Join
FCA for its first meeting of the year
in room 111 during lunch on Tuesday, August 27. This first meeting is a
food party with plenty of food to share, and everyone is welcome to attend!
Damonte
students,
thank you for all those who have signed up for peer tutoring during IC.
We still need a few more math peer tutors during IC, but also during all other
periods except for second period. Also, many families are seeking out
students to be individual math tutors after school for a rate of $10 per
hour. If you are interested, please see your math teacher or Mrs. Ault in
room 122. (run through 8/30)
So, do you
like “Pitch Perfect” and “The Sing Off”? Then
you will want to join Damonte’s a capella vocal group! Auditions will be
held Monday at lunch and during IC for Damonte Ranch’s first Contemporary A
capella group. The group will be made up of ANY singer at Damonte (you
don’t need to be in a choir to audition). The audition will consist of
sight reading and rhythm reading and vocalizing. Ms. Tibben is looking for
6 singers, any voice part, to make up this group. See her in room 143 for
an appointment or IC pass.
Hey Ninja Mustangs, the
first Asian Club meeting of the year will
be Tuesday, August 27 in Room 116 at lunch. Take advantage of this
opportunity to hang out with friends, meet new people, and enjoy delicious
food.
The
FBLA chapter of DRHS is having their first
meeting on Wednesday, September 4th, in the Career Center. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to
travel, meet new people, and the chance to win upwards of a thousand dollars. FBLA is a wonderful community that spans the
nation with over 216 thousand members from California to Maine. Be sure to stop
by for the meeting to hear all about this highly successful organization.
