The Damonte Ranch Scholarship Application has been updated and the
link is now LIVE. The deadline this year is Friday,
December 6, 2013 @3:00 pm. It is very important that all three
parts of the application be completed in order for you application to be considered.
Please read over all the instructions on how to submit your application.

opportunity that you see. If you have any questions or concerns please

Do you need a computer
for some of your assignments and don’t have one? Or are the computers at your home tied up with
other family members sometimes? This year we have laptop computers
available to students for check-out in our library. But before you can check one out you must
first go through a short training class. Please sign up in the counseling office if you
think you will need a computer to use sometimes. You only need to attend this
training once and you will be able to check a laptop when you need one this
year. The first training is Tuesday
during IC / FS so sign up today. Stop by
the counseling office.
Don't forget that Drama Club meets on Tuesdays at lunch in the theatre! Bring your lunch and join us on
stage for some fun--and bring a friend!Attention all freshmen:There will be a freshmen class meeting on Wednesday, August 28, in the theater during lunch. Don't miss out on your first class meeting!
STUDENTS, DON’T FORGET TO REMIND YOUR PARENTS that Open House is this Wednesday, August 28, at 6:30 pm. Please remember to provide your parents with a copy of your schedule so that they will be able to find your classes.

food party with plenty of food to share, and everyone is welcome to attend!

thank you for all those who have signed up for peer tutoring during IC.
We still need a few more math peer tutors during IC, but also during all other
periods except for second period. Also, many families are seeking out
students to be individual math tutors after school for a rate of $10 per
hour. If you are interested, please see your math teacher or Mrs. Ault in
room 122. (run through 8/30)
Hey Ninja Mustangs, the
first Asian Club meeting of the year will
be Tuesday, August 27 in Room 116 at lunch. Take advantage of this
opportunity to hang out with friends, meet new people, and enjoy delicious
food.
The
FBLA chapter of DRHS is having their first
meeting on Wednesday, September 4th, in the Career Center. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to
travel, meet new people, and the chance to win upwards of a thousand dollars. FBLA is a wonderful community that spans the
nation with over 216 thousand members from California to Maine. Be sure to stop
by for the meeting to hear all about this highly successful organization.
