TODAY IS AN “A” DAY

PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE

HELLO STUDENTS!  This is a friendly reminder to be kind to our custodians and help them keep DRHS beautiful!  Please remember to pick up your trash at lunch and all the time and help your friends remember, too.  Our custodians work very hard to keep Damonte Ranch in tip top shape.  Thank you.

The English department would like to congratulate the following students:  Mark Burks, Kyle Daugherty, Abbie Malabuyoc, Raeann Wagstaff, Montana Christian, Cade Ingersoll, Lia Ludlow, Kailey Edwards and Tyler Oscarson.  They are the September English students of the month.  To recognize these students we have set up a special display upstairs in the display case between Ms. Servilican and Miss Casci’s rooms.  Please stop by and see why their English teachers are recognizing these students this month!

Attention students:  Got Moves? is meeting again today, September 10, in the dance studio at lunch.  A professional dance instructor, will continue teaching various dance styles.  The dance studio is located in room #136 in the ROTC hallway.  Everyone is welcome!

If you drive to school, Officer Adragna would like to remind you that citations are being given if you do not have a parking permit on your vehicle.  Please pay the Bookkeeper and take your receipt and your driver’s license to Mrs. Lundstrom in the Corral to get your parking permit.

Baseball players!  There is an information meeting for ALL baseball players this Thursday at lunch in Mr. Polson’s room 210. Remember baseball meeting, Thursday at lunch in room 210.  See you there!

Attention students:  Please make sure all your library fines are paid, and all overdue books are returned by September 20th.   If you books are not returned and your fines are not paid, you may not purchase a ticket to the Homecoming dance.
Thank you!  Mrs. McRoberts

Attention Juniors and Seniors- On September 18th and 19th Wednesday and Thursday Damonte Ranch Career Center is hosting a ZAPS PSAT/SAT test prep seminar.  Informational letters were mailed home last week detailing how to reserve your spot.  The seminar begins at 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm for both days.  The price is $89.00.  This is money well spent as you can typically raise your score anywhere from 50 to 150 points.  If you didn’t receive a letter please stop by the Career Center for information on how to register.  Walk-ins are welcomed on that Wednesday as well.  (will replace updated version 9/11)

Attention Seniors- Please return the Infinite Campus Parent FERPA consent form that you received in your Government class to Ms. Aikin in the Career Center ASAP.  If you didn’t receive one please stop by the Career Center for a copy.  (run until 9/13)

Hey Damonte…Can you create the most amazing and spectacular backpack designs?  Backpack of the Century Design Challenge is offering a contest to see if you have the best ideas.  Here’s your opportunity to be creative and win some money.  Stop by the Career Center for the entry form/rules for the contest.  The deadline to enter is September 29th.  (Run until 9/11)
