PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE
Today is a “B” DaY
HSPE testing is THIS week Monday
through Thursday. Math, Reading and Science are being
taken by 11th and 12th graders who have not already
passed. On Wednesday there is a three hour delay and the writing
HSPE will be given to 11th and 12th graders.
All
baseball players
that are planning on trying out this February we have a mandatory meeting in
coach Polson’s classroom 210 on Tuesday Oct. 28th. Bring your
lunch. The meeting will take about 15-20 minutes. Also, please make
sure you bring your parents email addresses. Go Mustangs…
If you are still interested in
taking the ASVAB, due to the HSPE testing, there will
be a second opportunity to do so. Please see Mrs. Aikin please stop by the
Career Center to sign up and for additional details.
Would
you like to eat
some warm, goey, home-baked cookies and desserts on Friday? FCA is having
a Battle of the Sexes Bake Sale on Friday, October 24th during
lunch, and all proceeds go to a charity that provides clean water to third
world countries. Support the boys or the GIRLS this Friday! Last year,
the girls one this bake sale… will they repeat? Bring money, and buy
items for a good cause during lunch.
Congratulations to Kaylee Edwards
and Jade Mitchell for both bringing home second place
medals for their outstanding performance at the Douglas Speech and Debate
tournament this past weekend. Kaylee
took second place in Novice Original Oratory and Jade took second place in
Congress House II. Excellent job representing
Mustang Pride girls!
The
Freshmen Class will be selling Trick-or-Treat Candy Grams next week at lunch
for $1. Buy one for yourself or send one to a friend. They will be delivered on
October 30th in IC.
¡Feliz Día de los Muertos!
Hispanic Club will be selling a variety of yummy
Latin foods. Check out their stands at lunch starting on Monday, October 27
through Thursday, October 30. They will be selling foods such a sugar skulls,
tamales, and many more traditional Hispanic foods starting at a one dollar.
There
will be a ski team meeting Tuesday, October 28th at lunch in
Room 133. Anyone interested please come by to get information.
Students please remind your parents that the side entrances are for morning drop off. The front roundabout is reserved for the
handicapped busses.

COME INTO THE MAIN OFFICE AND PICK UP AN ATHLETIC PACKET. IF YOU HAVE
PLAYED IN A FALL SPORT SIGN THE CLIPBOARD AT THE ATHLETIC COUNTER IN THE MAIN
OFFICE.
