PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE

STUDENTS- Please remind your parent to complete online registration for their
students, as soon as possible. The can
go to their Infinite Campus Parent Portal and click on the message in the
inbox. Thank you.
Do you want some yummy pancakes? Do you want to support the freshman class? Every
Monday before school the Freshman Class will be selling pancakes for $2 a
plate! Come and enjoy!
Monday,
February 23rd is DRHS night at BJ's restaurant! If you eat
there between 5 and 9 pm, BJ's will donate 15% of food sales to Damonte
Ranch. You must present a flyer in order for them to
donate to us, so please pick up a flyer in the office or from your English
class. Enjoy both BJ's and helping Damonte Ranch High School!
Students: Please remember to bring a note from your parents, if you need to leave early for an
appointment. They may also sign you out
in the office. Thank you from the

I’d like to give you the latest testing update:
·
High school proficiency exams are the
first week of March. The 2nd-5th. Testing
starts at 8am. Math, Reading, Science and Writing tests are being given
to 11th and 12th grade students who have not already
passed. Look outside the counselors’ office for your name and testing room
number.

On Thursday March 5th of the
same week, there is a 3 hour delay. All 10th graders and any
juniors and seniors who have not already passed will be taking the science
proficiency on Thursday at 8am.

Lastly, any remaining balance due for AP
testing fees are due ASAP! See the bookkeeper to pay those AP fees
today.
Attention
all boys interested in playing golf, there is a mandatory meeting in room 107 at
lunch on Friday, February 20th.
Hey
Mustangs, be sure to come out this Saturday for softball tryouts! Show off those skills Saturday, February 21st
from 10am – 2pm. Welcoming all ages and
skill levels. Hope to see you there!

IT'S STUCO - Have you ever thought about joining student council? Making posters? Planning Dances? Or just having a good time with good people? Well now's your chance! Make a change by becoming a class officer. Pick up a packet in room 101 or in the office.
Packets are due Friday February 20th to Ms. Lombardi in Room 101. Feel free to email Student Body President Alex

The
Literary Club, Hoof Notes, is looking for cover submissions for this
year’s literary magazine. Please make sure it’s reflective of Damonte
Ranch High School and says “Hoof Notes.” This is the last week to submit
cover designs to Ms. Servilican in room 214. You may also e-mail a design
to Ms. Servilican through school e-mail. The winner will receive a
$100.00 gift card so don’t hesitate, submit your cover today!
The
Literary Club is looking for submissions of artwork, poetry, prose, drama,
photography, foreign language, and nonfiction. Please submit your work
today by picking up a submission sheet in any English class or the art room as
well as the library. Submissions can also be dropped off in Ms.
Servilican’s room, 214. You have until the end of March to submit to this
year’s Hoof Notes. There are prizes for winners including $100.00 gift
cards for first place winner.
Seniors: Don’t
forget - The deadline is February 27 for baby pictures
for the senior video. The correct email
for the baby picture submission is: drhsbabypic@damonteranchhs.com
Only
digital versions of pictures will be accepted. Parents can make a picture
digital at Walmart for about $5.00
