Students: Please
remind your parents…When you need
to leave school for an appointment or any other reason, your parent/guardian
must either write a note for you to leave or come into the office to sign you
out. Please do not tell them to call the
school, as we need their signature in order to release you. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Seniors: Don’t
forget - The deadline is February 27 for baby pictures
for the senior video. The correct email
for the baby picture submission is: drhsbabypic@damonteranchhs.com
Only
digital versions of pictures will be accepted. Parents can make a picture
digital at Walmart for about $5.00
Only
four days remain for a chance to win the authentic Tom Brady New England Patriots
jersey displayed in the main hallway. Simply purchase a yearbook between
now and this Friday, either from the bookkeeper or online at
yearbookforever.com, and you are automatically entered into the drawing.
We are running out of yearbooks, so don’t delay.
This
Wednesday night, February 11, at 6:30 in the Library, the Damonte
counselors will be coming to the Booster meeting to speak to parents (and
students) about the upcoming registration for the 2015-16 school year.
They will tell us about new classes, what is required to graduate, how to keep
your child on-track to graduation, etc. They
will also be available to answer any questions you have about high school and
beyond!
The
Culinary Arts program will be selling Jumbo Rice Krispy Valentines grams at
lunch for $2 through Tuesday, 2/10. Yes, I did say JUMBO rice krispy
treats that are drizzled with a white / dark chocolate. Let that special
someone, friend, or yourself feel extra special when they receive their message
and treat on Friday during 5th period when they are delivered.

You might be thinking to yourself, oh my gosh, it’s
already Wednesday and I have no plans for tomorrow night. BUT HAVE NO FEAR, MR. MUSTANG IS HERE. Tomorrow night nine senior boys will compete
to be Mr. Mustang starting at 7 pm. Tickets
are being sold for $7 at lunch all week for $7, or buy a VIP ticket for $15,
and get an extra treat during the show. At
the door tickets will be $9. Come out
and watch Damonte’s finest display their strength, charm, and wit at the
all-male pageant. (Feb. 11)
Hey
Mustangs, Valentine’s Day is coming up and Hispanic Club will be selling
Valentine Grams at lunch this week. You can reach us in front of the Career
Center to buy one, and give someone a greeting for this special day with a nice
Valentine Gram. Please provide the fifth period room number for delivery.
Deliveries will be made on Friday the 13th during 5th
period. (2/5-2/12)
Attention Seniors who are planning
on attending TMCC in the Fall of 2015:
The Career Center will host the first
of three Accuplacer Testing’s on Wednesday February 18th @1:15.
Please stop by the Career Center to sign up. Space is limited to 24 computers.

please sign in on the clipboard in the main office, at the Athletics
