SENIORS:
Do
you and your family want to go to an Aces game this summer? Friday, June 5, has been set aside for WCSD
staff and their families and for seniors and their families. If you would like to purchase tickets, please
see Dani, the bookkeeper, today. Tickets
must be purchased by the end of school on Friday, May 15th.
Volleyball
Players
– open gyms will resume on Tuesday, May 19 at 3 pm in the big gym. They will
run Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 3-5 pm, until June 3.
How would you like to win a night out for two at
BJs and Century Theaters? The freshmen class is selling raffle tickets, one
ticket for one dollar and six tickets for five dollars, in the Counselor's
hallway at lunch. It will be sold the 18th through the 22nd. Come enter for the
chance to win a night of fun!
Sophomores!
If you signed up to take AP Language and Composition next fall, there will be an
informational meeting on Friday, May 15, 2015, in the Career Center during I.C. Please stop by your
IC and let your teacher know you will be attending and come directly to the
Career Center when the 1:50 bell rings. Again, if you signed up to take
AP Language and Composition next year, it’s important that you attend this
meeting.
Lost and Found items will be
donated to good will on June 5th. There are lots of
coats and jackets and keys. Please stop
by the Corral to claim your lost items.

Advanced
Placement
Please
show up 15 min. prior to scheduled exam start time. You need to have your ID, 2
#2 pencils and a blue or black ink pen. Don’t
forget, if you have any remaining balance of AP fees to get those taken care of
now.
Two Driver Education classes will be offered at Damonte Ranch this summer. This 30-hour
class fulfills the classroom requirement for a driver's license in Nevada if
you are under 18. The cost is $94. For more information, pick up a flier at
your school's counseling office or call 829-9010 for more information and to
register.

Cheer
Tryouts for the 2015-2016 season begin May 20. Tryout packets are
available in the office and the deadline is May 19.
There will be an ASVAB test on May
19th at 8 am. Please stop by
the Career Center to sign up and further information regarding obtaining
passes.
