IN ONLY THREE WEEKS, JUNE 15TH TO JULY 3RD. SEE YOUR COUNSELOR RIGHT AWAY IF INTERESTED. WE CAN GIVE YOU INFORMATION ABOUT TAKING THESE
COURSES ONLINE AS WELL IF THAT WOULD WORK BETTER FOR YOU. HURRY, THESE CLASSES FILL UP FAST. SEE YOUR

Important Testing Information:
End
of Course Exams
End of Course Exams (EOC’s)
are scheduled for May 11th & 12th. Testing will begin at 8:00 a.m. on each day. The EOC’s will be offered in Math I and Math
II will be administered to any 9th and/or 10th graders
enrolled in Alg.1/Geometry or higher this year or in previous years. Rosters and testing rooms will be posted
outside the counseling office.

May 11th -- Math I (3hr
Delayed Start/Regular Classes begin at 11:15)

Tuesday,
May 12th – Math II (3hr Delayed Start/Regular
Classes begin at 11:15)
3hr delay is only for non-testers.
Advanced
Placement
Please
show up 15 min. prior to scheduled exam start time. You need to have your ID, 2
#2 pencils and a blue or black ink pen. Don’t
forget, if you have any remaining balance of AP fees to get those taken care of
now.
Two Driver Education classes will be offered at Damonte Ranch this summer. This 30-hour
class fulfills the classroom requirement for a driver's license in Nevada if
you are under 18. The cost is $94. For more information, pick up a flier at
your school's counseling office or call 829-9010 for more information and to
register.
Prom
Pictures are here!
If
you took prom pictures with LifeTouch you can pick them up at the table set up
in the counselor's hallway at lunch on Wednesday, the 6th and Thursday, the
7th.
Junior
Boys!
The application deadline is fast approaching for this year’s Nevada Boy’s
State. This is a premier civic leadership conference that is held in the summer
for junior boys only. If you see yourself as a future leader and want to meet
and talk to other future leaders and hear from present and past leaders in
local and state government, check out www.nevadaboysstate.org. The cost for the conference is minimal
and the experience is a maximum opportunity for your future. The deadline to
apply is May 6th so check it out soon! Nevada Boys State!

Cheer
Tryouts for the 2015-2016 season begin May 20. Tryout packets are
available in the office and the deadline is May 19.
There will be an ASVAB test on May
19th at 8 am. Please stop by
the Career Center to sign up and further information regarding obtaining
passes.
