Club! The first meeting of the year will
be on Monday, August 22nd during lunch in Ms. Bright's room (218.) Healthy Snacks will be provided.
Have
you ever thought about going to Washington D.C.? Mr. Fournier is
leading a trip to the Presidential Inauguration in January. If you are
interested, go to M6 and Mr. Fournier will answer all your questions. (Run in Friday’s
announcements please.)

who's ready to GLO?? On Friday, August
19th we will have our first dance of the year. GLO is an informal neon black light dance so
wear white and neon, but remember to stay in school dress code.
Tickets
will be on sale in the counselor’s hall at lunch for $12 pre-sold and $15 at
the door.
To
bring someone from another school, a guest pass must be filled out and turned
in by Friday August 19th. These forms
can be found in the corral.

the DRHS Mascot for 2016-2017? Tryouts for the Mascot will be in room 122 from

Ranch men – take note! We’re starting a
men’s choir. No previous choir experience is needed! If you’ve
always wanted to sing, but haven’t had time for choir in your schedule, we’re
meeting Mondays at lunch in Room 143. Questions? Ask Ms.

RANCH WILL BE HOSTING A NEW FOOD TRUCK STARTING EVERY Wednesday, 8/24/16, PLEASE
COME OUT TO THE PARKING LOT BY THE FOOTBALL FIELD AND ENJOY A DIFFEENT MENU
WEEKLY. THIS WEEK WILL WE WILL BE SERVING BRUSCHETTA CHICKEN FLATBREAD PIZZA,
CHIPOTLE BBQ CHICKEN ARTISAN PIZZA, AND A VEGETARIAN GREEK SALAD W/ DINNER
ROLL. ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF ARE WELCOME.
Students, teachers will be walking around class
during the announcements each morning to confirm that all students are meeting
the WCSD dress code policy. Any students who are not in compliance will
be sent to the Corral to change clothes and receive a referral. If you do
not know what the WCSD dress code policy is please refer to the student
handbook. Thank you!
Interested
in auditioning for the fall play?! You Can’t Take It With You is a
hilarious comedy about a quirky family from the 1930’s—come learn more about
the play and how to audition in our workshops on Monday and Friday. There
is more information on the bulletin board outside the theatre, as well as an
audition form that must be signed by a parent prior to auditions on August 23.
