TODAY IS AN “A” DAY
GRAND OPENING WEDNESDAY - Come out WEDNESDAY and get your upscale school lunch from the Washoe Noshery Food Truck on the east side of the
school toward the football field. Choose from BBQ Chicken Chipotle or
Chicken Bruschetta Flatbread pizzas or tasty Vegetarian Greek Salad. (Run

Want to see the White House and who the next president will be to occupy the
White House? Go see Mr. Fournier in M6 and he’ll tell you how you can
join him and other students when you attend the Presidential Inauguration trip
in January.

a gamer? Then meet up with others in Ms. Hellen’s room, 116, for Fanigame Club!
We meet Mondays and Fridays at lunch!
Interested in community service? Want to
meet new friends? Become a member of Key
Club! The first meeting of the year will
be on Monday, August 22nd during lunch in Ms. Bright's room (218.) Healthy Snacks will be provided.
Do you have amazing school spirit? Would you like to be the DRHS Mascot for
2016-2017? Tryouts for the Mascot will
be in room 122 from 3:30-4:00pm. Sign up
in Mrs. Ault room by Tuesday 8/23. (Run Thurs

Ranch men – take note! We’re starting a
men’s choir. No previous choir experience is needed! If you’ve
always wanted to sing, but haven’t had time for choir in your schedule, we’re
meeting Mondays at lunch in Room 143. Questions? Ask Ms.
Tibben. See you Monday, 8/22, at lunch! Teachers, you’re welcome as
well!
Students, teachers will be walking around class
during the announcements each morning to confirm that all students are meeting
the WCSD dress code policy. Any students who are not in compliance will
be sent to the Corral to change clothes and receive a referral. If you do
not know what the WCSD dress code policy is please refer to the student
handbook. Thank you!
Interested
in auditioning for the fall play?! You Can’t Take It With You is a
hilarious comedy about a quirky family from the 1930’s—come learn more about
the play and how to audition in our workshops on Monday and Friday. There
is more information on the bulletin board outside the theatre, as well as an
audition form that must be signed by a parent prior to auditions on August
23. Come check it out—auditions open to the entire school!
