food truck is cancelled for Wednesday, October 18 at Damonte Ranch due to the PSAT
Testing schedule. It will return next

The
Boys Tennis Team
is going to State this Thursday, October 20 at Caughlin Ranch at 2 pm. The Team is ranked #2 in the district for the
second time in 2 year! Yaaay!!
STRIKE – SPARE - 300! This is what you can get if you join the
BOWLING TEAM! The new Bowling advisors
are Mrs. Louton in Room 128 and Mrs. Jackson in Room 124. The first BOWLING meeting will be on November
7, 2016 at lunch in Room 128. Be there
to meet the Coaches and sign up!

Effective Immediately – All
Athletes who want to clear for Sports this Year (even if cleared for a fall
sport) must Register Online
at www.registermyathlete.com. This program only works with Firefox or
Chrome. Any questions come into the main office and see Mrs. Daniels.
Winter Sports – Girls/Boys Basketball, Wrestling & Ski.
ALL Online Registration
must be completed by October 26, 2016.

Friday (10/21) join Jack, Shayna and Daniela for Fruit cup Friday at
Lunch. It’s natural, healthy, happy,
delicious and nutritious. Just 1 dollar at the student store. Buy one for yourself and a friend. Also JAG students will be setting up Guitar
Hero for you right outside the store. You can play or just watch your friends. It’s
all at The Student store this Friday. See

Attention
Damonte Ranch Seniors: This is a reminder
that your senior portrait must be taken by November 11, 2016 or your photo will
NOT be in the yearbook. Please remind
your parents as well. Be sure schedule
an appointment with Lifetouch Studios, they are located on 80 East Patriot

Are you wanting to improve your math abilities,
exploring interesting math topics, and become a better math test-taker?
Then you should join the Math Club! The Math Club meets every Thursday
during lunch in Mr. Pence’s room 121. Everyone is welcome to attend.
October 21st during IC there will be an admissions representative from Universal
Technical Institute UTI giving a presentation.
If you need an IC pass to attend please stop by the Career Center and
see Mrs. Aikin.
Damonte Ranch
Rifle Marksmanship Team is holding open tryouts for both Varsity and JV
Teams Tuesday-Thursday, October 18-20, from 3-4:30 pm, you must attend all 3
days. Report to Room 131, the Rifle
Range. All DRHS Students are welcome to
tryout.
IF YOU ARE FEELING ILL AT SCHOOL, please remember to ask your teacher for a pass to
the clinic. You can call your parents
from the clinic. Your parents will sign
you out in the clinic, so your attendance with be properly recorded.
ASVAB
testing October 24th at 8 am. Please
stop by the Career Center to sign up and reserve you seat. Testing will take place in Commander Van
Buren's ROTC room.
