DAMONTE RANCH HIGH SCHOOL WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2021 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE & MOMENT OF SILENCE TODAY IS AN “A” DAY The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a national standardized test for 10th and 11th grade students. The exam will take place on October 13, 2021, for any interested 10th and 11th grade students. If interested, please register with the bookkeeper no later than October 1st. The cost is $18 for 11th grade students and is free for 10th grade students. More information will be provided as we get closer to the test date. (Run until 10/1) HOLA AMIGOS HISPANIC CLUB IS HERE AGAIN! Mrs. Gutiérrez invites you to join the Damonte Ranch Hispanic Club’s first meeting on Thursday, September 23 during lunch time in room 232. We will have many fun activities. Grab your lunch and bring a friend. (Run until 9/23) ¡Nos vemos el jueves! IN CASE YOU DIDN’T KNOW Breakfast and Lunch are FREE to All students until June 2022! You can help! • Members from FCA and girls’ basketball team will be coming around to classes during period 7, this week, in order to collect donations from students. • Every penny helps. • All funds will be donated to El Dorado County, to be given to families who were impacted by the Caldor Fire. (Run on 9/10, 9/13, 9/14, 9/15, 9/16, and 9/17) THE STUDENT STORE IS OPEN TODAY AT LUNCH! Come by and check out all of the great snacks such as Dippin Dots, Hot Cheetos, Pop Tarts, and Snapple Iced Teas! We also have a fantastic collection of Damonte Ranch swag including t-shirts, sweatshirts, lanyards, and stickers! We are located next to the Theater at the front of the school. Come by, say Hi, and pick up something awesome today! ARE YOU INTERESTED IN CREATING A DESIGN for a Damonte Ranch Spirit shirt? We are having a t-shirt design competition. The prize will be a free shirt with your design on it that everyone will be wearing! All submissions are due in room 226 to Mrs. Norton by September 17th.
