TODAY IS A “B” DAY
PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE
Damonte Ranch Students and Staff,
The National Honor Society in collaboration with The
Key Club, FCA, Christian Club, and International Club need your support
collecting donation items for the Philippines Typhon Relief such as: good
condition used summer clothes, blankets, toys, shoes, sleeping bags, towels,
and new toiletries. If you would like to donate money please see Mrs. Bright in
room 218. Boxes will be located in the office, Mrs. Hemler’s room 119, Mrs.
Depedro’s room 230, and Mrs. Greig’s room 144.

THE MAIN OFFICE IS SEEKING responsible students with very good attendance to
be Office Aides for 2nd Semester.
If you are interested, please see Mrs. Kenyon in the Main Office.
Environmental Club meets every Thursday at lunch in
Mr. Kaplan's room, room 206. If you are interested in making our school a
little greener, come up to Kaplan's. Environmental Club is a fun pro-active
environment for super awesome teenagers who want to contribute to making our
school greener. Come on up to Kaplan's room, room 206 on Thursdays at
lunch.
David Wise, X-game skier and future Olympian,
will be at DRHS to speak to FCA on Tuesday, November 19th, during
lunch in room 111. Everyone is welcome to attend!
Attention
Students -The library is hosting their annual “Food for Fines”
drive. If you owe less than $5.00 in library fines, you may bring in one
can of food for every $1.00 that you owe in fines. Thank you.
The Fleet Reserve Association is
sponsoring the
“National Americanism Essay Contest”. This year’s theme is “The Bill of
Rights and Me”. Grand prize is $5,000.00! Stop by the Career Center
for contest rules. All essays are due by December 1st.
