& Girls basketball tryouts will begin on Saturday, November 16th.
Athletic clearance packet must be completed prior to tryouts. See Coach Sheets

What
do you want to be when you grow up? The GATE
Internship class is a great way to try on a career before you graduate. The class is open to Juniors and Seniors who
are taking AP classes and have at least a 3.25 GPA. You need time,
transportation, and the ability to work well independently. To learn more, please come to our Internship
Orientation Meeting on Friday, 11/15
during IC. Current Damonte Ranch interns will talk about their experiences in
this amazing class and the teacher/coordinator will be there to answer your
questions! You must get a pass in
advance from the counseling office to come to this meeting.

Week is November 11-15. UNLV will be
on campus Thursday, November 14th, during lunch time. UNR will
be on campus during IC in the Career Center Tuesday, November 19th

key club meeting for this week has been rescheduled for Friday at lunch. Please
plan on attending. We need a final count of official members before sending off
our charter application.

DRHS Friday,
November 8th accepting class ring and graduation orders, from lunch
until 2:30 pm in the counselors’ hallway.

Attention
Students -The library is hosting their annual “Food for Fines”
drive. If you owe less than $5.00 in library fines, you may bring in one
can of food for every $1.00 that you owe in fines. Thank you, Mrs. McRoberts
The Fleet Reserve Association is
sponsoring the
“National Americanism Essay Contest”. This year’s theme is “The Bill of
Rights and Me”. Grand prize is $5,000.00! Stop by the Career Center
for contest rules. All essays are due by December 1st.
