PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE

NEWS FROM THE CAREER CENTER:

*Tuesday, November 5^th, a recruiter from Whitworth University & University of Utah will be on campus during lunch time. Sierra Nevada College will be in the Career Center during IC.
*Wednesday, November 6^th, a recruiter from UNR College of Science will be on campus during lunch time.
*Friday, November 8^th, is the SAT & ACT registration deadline for the December 7th test date and December 14th (ACT) test date. LAST TEST DATE TO GET SCORES IN TIME FOR THE DECEMBER CUT OFF.

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you be something else is the greatest accomplishment.”  Literary Club, will be meeting on Thursday, November 7^th at lunch in Ms. Servilican’s room, #214.  Please be on time and ready to discuss the upcoming art contest for the literary magazine cover. 

JOSTEN’S WILL BE HERE AT DRHS Thursday & Friday, November 7^th & 8^th accepting class ring and graduation orders, from lunch until 2:30 pm in the counselors’ hallway.  Extra packets are located in the office.

Attention Students -The library is hosting their annual “Food for Fines” drive.  If you owe less than $5.00 in library fines, you may bring in one can of food for every $1.00 that you owe in fines.  Thank you, Mrs. McRoberts

 The Fleet Reserve Association is sponsoring the “National Americanism Essay Contest”.  This year’s theme is “The Bill of Rights and Me”.  Grand prize is $5,000.00!  Stop by the Career Center for contest rules.  All essays are due by December 1^st.

WINTER SPORTS CLEARANCE (BOYS/GIRLS BASKETBALL, WRESTLING & SKI) is OCTOBER 7^th through NOVEMBER 5^th. Athletic Clearance Packets can be picked up in the Main Office.  If you have played a Fall Sport and are interested in signing up for a Winter Sport, go to the main office and sign the clipboard at the Athletic Counter.
