PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE
THANKSGIVING BREAK IS Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, November 27-29,
2013.
SENIORS, IF YOU HAVE NOT
HAD YOUR YEARBOOK PICTURE TAKEN, there may still be time to schedule a sitting by
calling Life Touch at 851-0444. Otherwise, Life Touch will be on campus
one day only on December 9, 2013, to do make-up sittings. However, students who
have their pictures taken then may not be able to choose which photo will be
included in the yearbook.
The 2013-2014 Student Speakers Contest sponsored by the Lions Club is seeking students, grades 9 through
12, who excel in public speaking to enter their contest. Scholarship
awards are granted to those winners. This year’s topic: Electoral
College: Passé or Good for the Country. If you would like more
information about this contest please stop by the Career Center.

cross country athletes, please meet in Coach Woo’s room 111, Friday the
22nd at Lunch. And don’t forget to turn
in your uniform to Coach Harrison or to the front office, in a bag with your name
on it, as soon as possible.
Damonte Ranch Students and Staff,
The National Honor Society in collaboration with The
Key Club, FCA, Christian Club, and International Club need your support
collecting donation items for the Philippines Typhoon Relief such as: good
condition used summer clothes, blankets, toys, shoes, sleeping bags, towels,
and new toiletries. If you would like to donate money please see Mrs. Bright in
room 218. Boxes will be located in the office, Mrs. Hemler’s room 119, Mrs.
Depedro’s room 230, and Mrs. Greig’s room 144.

THE MAIN OFFICE IS SEEKING responsible students with very good attendance to
be Office Aides for 2nd Semester.

HELP
FEED THE HUNGRY-The library is hosting their annual “Food for Fines”
drive. If you owe less than $5.00 in library fines, you may bring in one
can of food for every $1.00 that you owe in fines. Thank you.
The Fleet Reserve Association is
sponsoring the
“National Americanism Essay Contest”. This year’s theme is “The Bill of
Rights and Me”. Grand prize is $5,000.00! Stop by the Career Center
for contest rules. All essays are due by December 1st.
