There is a new fan at Damonte Ranch Basketball Games, but this fan is totally different, spreading a positive message. The Fans for Fans project was developed by Principal Hausauer in collaboration with Jobs For America’s Graduates the students who run the student store. The plastic hand-held fans are given out to sports fans and have a positive message encouraging good sportsmanship and to keep the stands clean. Each fan has a number on it and at half-time at games Jobs for America’s Graduates holds a raffle for the winning number. The fans are recycled at the end of each game. Come get your fan at the next Damonte game, Friday January 29th, when we play Carson City.
